Today God Touched Me

Today, I was driving to the next town to pick up my husband from work. (We're trying to save money on gas.) I was praying and asking God certain questions and searching for answers. He began to give me a peace, an awesome peace, and it didn't matter any more if I had the answers to the questions or not!

He said,"Look, it's Friday, the weekend is coming, and you're not dreading it!"
(For the past few months, Friday has been a day of dread for me because of upcoming weekends.) And I realized, (duh!)....God was right! For the first time, I wasn't dreading the weekend! God has done a work in my hubby and he yells at my daughter and me LESS and he is becoming more like Jesus. This helps me relax and be more myself and focus on God instead of when the next "blowup" is going to be. Praise God!

The Lord reminded me how many times I have wanted to just give up---but He never gave up on me!!!! Never! By the time I picked my handsome husband up, tears were streaming down my face, tears of joy because of how great my God is.

I need a revelation like this myself. I feel re-motivated to seek Him deeper, His heart more.

This is beautiful. God is faithful. And you are being blessed with your faithfulness to Him. I know there have been days where you have wanted to give up. But If you had left, then you would have been missing out on this wonderful work that God is doing in your husband. Praise the Lord.

The day we may have decided to give up and leave could be the day that God performs that miracle. Our spouse gets saved, Or they acknowledge their wrong doings and change. Who knows what blessings we may miss, if we give up.

Praise the Lord for His timing is perfect and it is good to hear such encouragement here. breakthroughs come usually when we are about to give up but we need to keep pressing in and pressing on.
