Like walking through treacle
The desert is tough
Aimlessly trudging
Through times that are rough
You're getting no answers
To questions of pain
The absence of sunshine
Is bringing the rain.
You're clinging on tightly
To the hand of your Lord
Trusting completely
And bound by a cord
That can never be broken
By foul means or fair
He'll always be with you
Your problems to share.
