This is a very short true story but it is one of the most touching stories i have ever read in my life. I know it will touch many here who read this. May God bless you all.

Note: This is a true article that was printed in a southern newspaper less then a year ago

TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE READING THIS

There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the Dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot himself! The little girl watched it all. She then was sent to a foster home. The foster mother was a Christian and took the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus, and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of Jesus and said, "Does anyone know who this is?" The little girl said, "I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my parents died."

2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort

I don't doubt it for even a second. I once watched a show on a Christian station about a woman who had lead a very troubled life. She was abused as a very small child. She recalled looking in the mirror at 4 years of age, thinking that life shouldn't be this hard. She says the Holy Spirit spoke to her then and told her that she could take this pain, by giving it to Him, and that He would strenghten her so she could help others with the same pain in their lives. Keep in mind that this was a 4 year old. She said that she had always known that the Holy Spirit was with her. Today, she has more than one orphanage in Haiti. The children there, put their fingers to their heart and say, "I Christian!!!" Praise His Name

 Dear jmh137, That story is really something else. I too, have heard that story before, some where on the internet. Isn't that an amazing story though! But how do you know if it is a true story?

I trust that it is. I saw her and her husband on TBN one night a couple of years ago. Her story wasn't a pretty one and I'm just saying what she said. She had been a Playboy centerfold at one time in her youth. I say it only because it is true. I didn't want to bring it up, but she was so real on this broadcast. She showed home movies of herself with the children and they all loved her so much. They approached her story with the aspect that you can make a difference in others, and bring hope. She more or less had enough money to start an orphanage (one) at the time. She made this comment and I can't remember the exact words, but it was a conversation that she had with her husband. She had told him that having no children of her own, but having such a heart for hurting children (just as she had been) she was going to try to make a difference, somehow, someway. I don't remember if she couldn't get anywhere through local help groups or what. She was in a state of depression over the matter and was on the phone conversing with her husband about it. She asked him, "Why can't I help children if I want to?" It was at this point that she realized that no one could stop her, so she took the money she had saved and went to Haiti and started an orphanage. At the time it was being broadcasted on TBN, I think she had more than one and possibly a medical institution, for the children's needs. I was very inpressed with her story and agreed with her witness in a lot of different areas and so the story has just stuck out in my mind. .......jmh137 To God be the Glory!!!

Jo!! But That Really Shook Me Just Shows You Jesus Is Always There When You Need Him Most!!
Merry Christmas

Jewish believers say about things like that:
"Every word in the rock", which means: Words strong like a rock...
God Is Glorious for ever.
