Tubal Ligation Reversal

Have any women here had this done or know of someone who had this done? Was it successful? I'd love to hear some stories successful or not on this subject as I'm looking into this procedure for myself.

My wife is getting this procedure done herself. After she divorced her first husband she got it done because she did not intend to have anymore children. After she married she still didnt intend to have anymore since her children are 14,17 and 20. However she is my first wife and I do not have any children of my own. Also I have been abstinent and have waited til marriage to have children. My wife wants to make me happy and I have always wanted children of my own so she isnt going to go ahead and get this done so we can try to have children together.

I wanted to have it done, but neither tubes were do-able, as the ligation was cautery, and the heat damaged the tubed down into the uterus. So we prayed for 7 years, and God provided the means to do in-vitro (very conservatively) twice and we got our son! It truly was a miracle.

I hope more women realize a ligation should be considered permanent - really. Mine sure was. I hope yours is reversable. I do know one woman who had success after reversal.
