It's wide open for topics and nothing is off limits as far as scriptural references are concerned. Here's one to start us off...

When the resurrected Jesus returned and appeared in various places at times he was unrecognizable (as on the road to Emmaus) and at times unrecognizable until those present heard his voice or something else triggered the ability to realize who it was they were talking to (like Mary at the tomb). At times he just appeared among them, seemingly out of thin air yet physically present in the moment. Seems strange, no? I've heard various attempts to explain these phenomena away, but they are recorded in scripture describing something completely foreign to our sense of things that make sense, if you know what I mean.

His return was different. It's not like he just got up and walked out of the tomb and went back to his old house. Ever think about this?

Perhaps. Yet, once they recognized him all doubt was removed. One moment- no idea who this is, 'unrecognizable' -- the next? 'It's YOU!'

When Moses and Elijah appeared with him on the mountain- they were recognized for who they were-- it wasn't a familiarity or a likeness- it was recognition. It was knowing. In other words, those who return have the ability to make themselves recognizable, or not. They can at will choose obscurity or association.

I prepared myself a little brown rice, while cooking “Sautéed” a mixture of peppers and a Variety of Onions. About a hour of completion. My oldest daughter and her 17 year old new grad daughter in the kitchen, running my big mouth as usual.

I am the only one that eats this kind of meal. Fix my Bowl, went into the living Room, no Bowl, went into The Dinning Room no Bowl, Went back into The Kitchen no Bowl. Everyone is looking for my bowl of Brown Rice and onions and crush peppers, no bowl, everyone looks in the Fridge, no Bowl. There were two to 3 guest in the home roaming. Me and my daughter and grand daughter said nothing. No panicking, I just got another Bowl that was left in the pot. My daughter looks in the Dish water my Red bowl, no panic, I had a bowl left. next morning I get up for Coffee a little breakfast, open the Fridge, look smack at at a “Food Container”, what’s this, My food, I most have place my Rice in the Food container while running my big mouth. But no one saw it right there in the Middle, a close food container right up front in the Fridge. All day.

I did not panic or was alarm of such a thing. God does us in that way a lot like that sometimes.

It would have been a little kinder, if you would have ask me why I said that and why there was a Greater act and power of God Displayed. And The reason for the translation to recorded in such a way. but I will give only a little information, but you do not have to believe me, most people do not believe my presentation of “Holy Scripture” anyway.

1. the Sun Never moves.

2. the Earth turns on a “axis”. the Earth is Turning right now about “1400 MPH” if It Stop on its “Axis” all thing on it would not STOP!!!!!

everything would be “Destroyed “. So if The Sun never moves, and Earth is always Turning over “1400 Mph”at certain times, God had To Stop the Earth from turning. And The Sun only Looks Like it is Standing Still. But it always has been standing Still.

So in essence The Sun Did Stop, for “Joshua” BUT GOD knows All things! So He STOP the EARTH from Turning That The SUN stool still, to Joshua it seem.

I heard that, over 40 years, told in Preaching about “Joshua”, By A Black Theologian name “Dr. Charles Butler” a Graduate from “Yale”! In another descriptive way.

He told it better than I could ever tell it!

When He preached to Pastors only, and no women allowed!

It would be so Quiet, you could hear a “Mouse walk on Cotton”!
It seems there are”No More “Theological Orators”.

In The Biblical era, For they never called Jesus, Jesus they call HIM “JOSHUA”!
And The OLD FOLKS, The Chewing “ tobacco“ kind, Snuff lip carrying GrandMa’s. In the Day, Spoke Often about “JOSHUA’S BATTLE. AX”!

I Miss Those “GrandMa’s”! Prayer Warriors they were. And when they Talk about GOD, They Spoke with Power! Corn Pipe in Their Mouth and A hand on The Hip!

You telling me to go study something concerning a “Non-Canonical” book or A Deutero-canonical or Pseudographical book. You could never touch me in that field throughout your whole Life. honestly!

I must have Read my Entire “Canon of Holy Scripture” the 66 books over 10 times and New Testament over and plus 50 times addition. Systematically beginning at Genesis and Marching Across non stop To the Book of Revelation,, before i had to Tackle The “Non- Canonical”, Deutero-Canonical and The Pseudographical Books. So I would not be lead astray by The False and Non- Authoritative books

For The Plumb Line had Been etch in my Soul and Stamp in My mind. By Strong Prayers and dedication and sanctification.

You could never match me in that Territory in your life time. sorry you ain’t Heavy enough.

And I would never Stamp none of Those Pages by Praying To GOD our Father as I Read Them for Him To Stamp any memory of the Contents written within those pages on the tablet of my mind or Soul, like i have 100’s and 100’s and 100’s of Times I have done concerning The “66 Canon of Holy Scripture” for GOD and The “Tetragrammaton” is my witness.

And I would never in my life and The life to come recommend anyone to read a “Non-Canonical” Book. for we all will stand before “The Judgment seat” of Christ. And everything will come to light. Whether good or Bad. I got enough to answer for. But I would never lead another, down another path that they may get lost.

I can be Trusted in that what he has given me.

The Sun rotates on its axis once in about 27 days. This rotation was first detected by observing the motion of sunspots. The Sun's rotation axis is tilted by about 7.25 degrees from the axis of the Earth's orbit so we see more of the Sun's north pole in September of each year and more of its south pole in March.

To each of the prophets who became ambassadors- spokespersons for the Father, delivering His words to men by way of messenger. These men were anointed by the Holy Spirit to speak the words given through that same spirit, expressing the Father's will and conveying previously unknown information about Him or about future events that He wanted to make known ahead of time for one purpose or another. All of this is backed by the various scriptural accounts of these prophets and how 'the word' came to them. Mostly in what we refer to as in dreams or visions, in a private manner, yet so profoundly that they were compelled to tell others, sometimes in rather bizarre ways (as with Isaiah who walked around naked for several years).

Yet when it comes to Jesus-- where scripture speaks about the word of God becoming flesh we think in different terms. We don't think of 'the word' coming to him in the same way as with those other prophets, we say he was the word- and we often capitalize it- Word, like it's a name or proper title. These are customs we've adopted because some one or another has decided we should, but without any concrete scriptural basis. How do we know that we should not be thinking of those Old Testament prophets in the same way? Maybe we should be saying it like- The Word came to Jeremiah and became flesh. Or to Elijah, or Elisha. How plain can it Get!

For many Still do not Believe! And many, have Met The “Parakletos” but still have not learn who he really is, many have Come To know “”Jesus as Their Savior” but have not yet come to Know Him as “LORD” not lord but “LORD”. And many Have Not Been Introduced to “The FATHER”. But they Think they have but in actuality They Know They Haven’t, The Parakletos, will not lie and tell them they have. For all Three are In agreement.

A long Time ago, my oldest girl was just a small, child , I would loose things she would help me find things.

I told her to help me find my eye glasses, I had been looking for them all morning, she was about 3-4 years old, She look at me kinda Strange, puzzling she stood there, finally she said: “Daddy” you got them on. She is today, 41 years old, I remember it seems as yesterday. my events, with them and I always remind them the prayers we prayed and where we were, letters they wrote me, the biblical moments, the letters they don’t remember, but I got them.

I agree with most of that, but likely look at it differently and that's okay. We see through different lenses. I've searched for mine when they were atop my head as well.

Do you ever study original languages? I find it fascinating to go back and look at the Hebrew and/or Greek writings to examine what those writings actually say, that we then have translated into more generic terms often losing important nuances in the process. For example in that creation account Moses provided us in the book of Genesis, it references elohim as creating everything, which we translate to read the generic- "God." Similarly that passage in John that points to 'the beginning' mentioned in Genesis uses the Greek word 'theos' which we again translate into the very generic english language "God" again. In reality and in their original languages elohim and theos have meanings that are distinct from what we associate with God, particularly if we think (as most of us do) as God- the Father. I think you are right in saying that the Father is not the son. (Isn't that obvious?) and that it was the son who was there at the beginning as a divine creator, actively creating. Understanding both elohim and theos as referring to divinity, rather than mashing them through a theological blender that spits out "God" everytime is helpful toward a better understanding of all that follows.
