He did this to make sure the reality of hell was not misunderstood. A small tormenting creature will never relent, and the fire of hell will never cease. Those in hell will experience punishment, torment or torture forever, unending.

People are not saved through fear

Your message lacks the goodnews that there is a Redeemer who is seeking to save.

Any gospel message that leaves out what Jesus did for us on the cross is wrong.
The goodnews is that Christ died for sinners and them that believe on Him have eternal life.
Yes the penalty for not believing needs to be clear but preaching hellfire without sharing the way of Salvation is futile.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

My post was not an effort to preach the gospel. But it is related to how I at times have begun to preach the Gospel - "Eternal Life or Eternal Fire".

You built a strawman argument and knocked it down - as if I attempted to preach the Gospel.

I posted scripture of the Lord Jesus preaching. There are good reasons to seek Jesus, and eternal fire is one eternally sound reason. I have no criticism of the Lord's preaching.

I have preached main tenants of the Gospel many times in different cities and states, and I have preached the Gospel and published it on the internet.

As a homeless servant of the Lord, I am restricted by demons inside and outside of me that try to kill me daily. Without these daily attacks, I likely already would have typed out a Gospel for free use.

These "demons" you mention in many posts have no power nor hold over you.
They cannot kill you.

You have victory in Christ Jesus and His in dwelling Spirit is your guide, comfort and strength since the day you were saved.

I watched one of your video's.
My concern is that you are trapped in this pattern of behaviour......this continual Grip and Rip method you have mentioned in other posts.

Curious Brother. In this opening post. You provided something for the unbeliever to chew on which is the reality of Eternal Fire, but have not presented anything of Eternal Life and with nothing else to go by with this post if I were an unbeliever would ask "Isn't Eternal Fire the same as Eternal Life?" Then again they might ask something else entirely different. I really don't know.

Keep in mind that you are posting on a Christian site, and by most if not all the bio's written by members one can say are professing Christians/Believers....or Born Again Christians if you will. So, the perspective is different than someone who does not believe. We can not assume they understand or realize the significance of words such as "Eternal Fire, Eternal Life, Salvation, Grace, etc." In a matter of speaking and not to be insulting to anyone. In certain aspects we need to assume they know nothing, and must explain everything! With great patience and love. Realizing that it is the Holy Spirit that will draw them and the law convict them of the sin and the consequences of it upon them.

So, the questions I or other Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus might ask in reasoning your post here at TJ is probably not the ones that would come to an unbelievers mind. If you don't want believers to answer this post of yours. Then please say so in the beginning of your opening post. This way if we have questions or concerns on this, either as fellow Servants we might address them to you through PM's and allow the thread to stand until unbelievers find it and ask their own questions of you.

There always has to be a first one. I mention the Eternal Fire irrespective of what others have or have not said, because you of your mentioning of it in the title of the thread.

I also note that you have not mentioned anything about my observation on directing this thread to non-believers on a Christian site. We as believers in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and non-believers are not like minded. What we would answer to a question posed to us is not based upon the same foundation that a non-believer's is. This is why I was straight forward with you in asking how you wanted this posting handled. You can continue to avoid answering questions such as these in the guise of going of topic, but doing so serves you no good, and resolves nothing.

Renaming it and making it a general statement for all concerned instead of to unbelievers is a suggestion and by doing so you might have at least one person not going off topic. I realize that after a period of time certain changes are not available to you to make so please allow me as a Servant here to assist you. As Moderators we can help, and as part of the Body of Christ we each have different functions to fulfill. So, let us work together instead of at cross-purposes.

Who knows what that really means, it is a very deep parable. I think this would require those who are mature of the faith to understand it.
