For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident."
For we wrestle not against* flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
He brought me to the banqueting house,And his banner over me was love.Sustain me with cakes of raisins,Refresh me with apples,
For I am lovesick.
His left hand is under my head,
And
His right hand embraces me.
