Unsaved Cousin Dying Right Now!

Please pray my cousin Janet Gellespie will live long enought to hear the Gospel one more Time! She went into a diabetic coma sesterday and her kydneys are shutting down . The doctors are asking the kids to "make some decisions"! I won't be able to see her for 6 hours and my parents will see her in an hour or so. We will all try to witness to her even though she is in a coma.

We need a miracle from God that she will wake up to hear the Gospel and her heart will be ready to recieve it! Please, please, pray for Janet. Her children aren't saved, either.

I had a friend who came out of a coma and said he could hear all that was being said very early on. (It took him a little while to figure out his condition though. He said he felt sorry for whoever the doctors were talking about and at some point realized it was him.) So be encouraged that she can hear the witnessing.

And God definately hears our prayers. God bless you, your cousin, and your family.

I am praying for her and her children.
My father says that even if someone is in coma, he says they think that the person can still hear the people in their surroundings. My prayers are with her.:girl_hug:

Update on cousin

I want to thank you all for praying for my cousin and let you know what effect our prayers have had for her. She is doing so much better than all the doctors and nurses thought she would! In fact, they are amazed. To God be the glory! We have told her about how so many people are praying for her complete healing, even many strangers. It is such a comfort to her and her children, and they don't even know the Lord. It has tremendously encouraged and strengthened me.



She is now breathing on her own and her kidneys have functioned a little on their own. She doesn't seem to be brain damaged, though she has seemed to forget an important conversation she had with her daughter the day before. She can't talk, but is smiling and reaching out to hold peoples hands and mouthing words to communicate! Her blood sugar was over 700 at one point but went back to normal. Praise the Lord. I shared the Gospel with her and she understood what I was saying. This is an answered prayer, brothers and sisters.



Her prayer needs now are that the doctors want to amputate her legs due to damage caused by lack of circulation. Also please pray for continued healing of her kidneys. If she makes it out of the hospital she is expected to need dialysis. We know God can heal her entirely even removing the diabetes. I pray that if it is to His glory God would do so. What He has done so far has been such a glory story! He is mighty and so worthy of praise!

Praise GOD she is doing better sister. Thank you for sharing this. I will pray that she will be healed and not need to have her legs amputated.
