I had not looked at my profile for a while and didn't realize so many of my wonderful brothers and sisters here had left messages wanted to know how my daughter is doing.
Well, PRAISE THE LORD, she got herself straight and sober and completely invested in Jesus about a month before she was sent away to Rehab. She deleted all of her old/bad contacts from her phone, changed her number and set forth on her journey for God to mold her into the person He wants her to be.
She is in one of the best Rehabs in the State and it's the one God wanted her in. It's amazing, she went in there with a Christian sister awaiting her arrival, a friend of a friend she had never met. They instantly bonded and have Bible Studies and pray together every night and on Sunday they go to Church and then there's a Church Bible Study.
God is addressing every single one of her problems and she is responding wonderfully by the Grace of God. So far all I can get is letters from her, but soon she'll get to call me 5 minutes a week. I miss her dearly, but I have joy unspeakable to know she is in God's hands and he is providing her with what she needed.
So, things are good and I have been fellowshipping with all of her friends by holding Bible Studies at my house once or twice a week. One of the guys talked to my son and invited him to come over his house to play video games. Who knows maybe the Lord will use him to lead my son to the Lord. I wrote this poem about it:
Lord I Trust You
Lord I trust you to save my only son
I trust you to help me get things done
You gave me your only begotten SON
I love You with all my heart
You were there from the start
And never shall You depart
You are my father from above
No one can give me such love
You beautiful lovely Dove
Led me to share the Word
Open their ears so it can be heard
Don't let them think it is absurd
My heart aches for those who do not know You
This world is so wicked and cold without You
Take my hand and lead me and show me what to do
Lord I trust You!!!!!!!
Thank you all for asking and continue praying for my family as it is evident that prayer DOES work. Praise God!!!
Your sister in Christ,
Katzie
