Violent Love

I am a partner with God's heart! I want to know what the price is that people would be willing to pay for our Nation! For those who are decieved by ignorant love, by what is or isn't a human life! Can't we be obediant to the point of death? Can't we be conformed to the image of Christ to where we no longer have to preach a good message, but we can be Christ to the lost!
Our intercession needs to be based on His desire, and we need a burden for souls!

Doesn't a Bride and a Bridegroom know each other's heart? Doesn't a Father and a Son know each other's heart? Why are we as a nation, as intercessors slacking this one thing that God souley desires? Intimacy!

I want to know why we as Christians do not have the same heartcry for America! Why we don't long for prayers that we can't shut off, or why we don't long for deliverance through the women who've had abortions, through the homosexuals, through the leaders of this naiton who don't take a stand for our God. We sit on here a put up prayer requests for our friends and family, and ourselves, and that's good in all, but what about those millions of babies who've died due to this holocaust called abortion? What about those who have the wrong preception on love? What about them? Who will take a stand for those who cannot!?

Why can't we weep for them? Why don't we hurt for them? Someone needs to raise up a battlecry in this hour! We need to be against the spirit of Jezebel in this Nation! in 1973 there wasn't a church to stand up and say "NO" to abortion, and I believe that in this time there will be a new awakening, and the dry bones will rise!

I pray Psalm 132 over America, and I pray that you get the same vision God has for this Nation! It will break you!

I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to discourage anyone, I was just letting my heart out, that we could pray for this nation as well as our families, and our friends!

You did not offend me or any one but just I shared my view...there are so many anti american movements which are not according to the will of God...they are only natural reactions for the injustices but Jesus will be different in this approach...that is all..no worry be happy...:boy_hug: :girl_hug:

I agree with your cry for an end to Christian apathy. As a church, we seem to blow not hot and cold, but hot and lukewarm. The Bible tells us how God feels about that lukewarm condition: "...because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth." (Rev 3:16)

My personal belief is that God is gearing up for a great move of His Spirit in the United States and Canada. I've read of revival breaking out in a number of places in Canada in very recent months and I believe that God is signaling a coming move of the Spirit in the USA by sending evangelistic teams to America from Third World countries (and he will support their work with great signs and wonders).

God is lighting the fires of revival in North America. Lets pray that revival
will bring us together as the church so that we cry out against these evils with a unified voice empowered by the Holy Spirit!

Amen brother! There is in fact a revival coming, and it's coming from the North, South, East and West, and we must be prepared to fan the flame when it gets here!

Violent love, indeed Irobar. You ask searching questions. Questions which I cannot answer. I cannot give an answer because the problem is too big, for me.

You ask, what are we doing? I do believe that Christians are praying worldwide for God to send a revival of Christian Faith, and Christian Salvation. "A holocaust of abortion" yes we are all saddened and brokenhearted as we see this.

We sit on here a put up prayer requests for our friends and family, and ourselves, and that's good in all,...............

It may seem small and irrelevant but I believe that God hears our prayers, and folks are blessed and delivered. I cannot reach the world but I pray that I reach one or two.....for Jesus. So can you, and that maybe is where it will start.
