Hey everyone,
As you may (or may not) know, this is the time when colleges across the U.S let students know whether they've gotten in or not. Or whether they get their tension extended a bit. I fall into this last category, as the school of my dreams just put me on their waitlist. A few facts-
1. I am an 'international student'
2. The school I got waitlisted into- Carleton College
3. I was a bit unserious in high school (as unserious as you can get in my very competitive high school. I say this without pride, just for a bit of context); God's providence is evident in the fact that I even got waitlisted. (Many a prayer was invested into this, I assure you.)
4. A year interning at a regional think tank has exposed me to so many realities... long story short, a Carleton experience would empower me.
5. I need your help. Please pray that I get an e-mail sometime during the summer telling me of a space available for me, I would owe the potential admission to each and everyone of you's prayers ( I hope I got that right :\) I joined this site a while ago and I have not had cause to regret it. That will not change no matter the outcome this summer.
That being said, I remain hopeful in a God who empowers those who know Him to be 'strong and do exploits' (Daniel 11:32). I thank you all in advance, God bless
