Please pray for me. I have been having intrusive thoughts since around late 2015 up until now.
I posted a prayer request last night about my severe paranoid problem. I keep having these thoughts and worst over the years ive thought blasphemous thoughts, disrespectful, unwanted thoughts about everyone i love and sometimes think people are plotting to kill me or make something out to be my fault
But when I talk to my loved ones they seem living as usual.
I get paranoid that even Christ confessing people biting into a piece of fruit are sendi g me a subliminal message. But i feel no bad feelings when I talk to them personally.
Why are these thoughts allowed in me?

I do not know the answer to your question,

But I do know the closer I get to God, through Obedience and prayer, fasting, and study of the word and good deeds, the less this type of stuff happens to me, although I still get unwanted thoughts, I try to focus on Jesus and what he did for me.

, I am praying for you Frank

Dear Frank

Although you need prayer my friend I feel in my heart you should seek, one to one, with a Christian Counsellor. May be that should be one of your first prayers.

I had a period when all my past opened up, forty years of it, it was like a can of evil worms eating me away inside. I prayed and asked for prayer as you are doing brother, I felt I needed one to one counselling, then one day I went to my doctor, he could tell I was troubled before I told him anything, he asked did I have problems, he said I feel you have problems Paul, at that point I confirmed I felt I needed a Christian Counsellor, he told me to wait a minute, he said I just have to pop out, I'll be back in a minute. He was only a short time and back in he walked with a lady. He said to me, this is Margaret, she is a Christian, she is a counsellor. Margaret introduced herself and we left to surgery going into another room to talk. It wasn't easy, I had counselling once a week for eight months, it was the best thing I could have done. If we try sort out issues inside they bind our attention, the demand our focus, we cannot get rid of them, they have to be dealt with.

Meeting with another Christian and talking things out helps the flesh, which includes the mind, release what is causing us to think the way we do, but we also need prayer my friend, these things grip us within, the chains need to be broken for us to be set free. So we come to Jesus, lay every issue at His feet and walk away and leave them there, the first is easy, leaving is what people struggle with most, because the chains that are binding you must be broken. So take the yoke Jesus offers upon you Frank, His yoke is light and easy to bear, pour your heart out to the Lord my friend.

We share the load Frank, first the spiritual load with Jesus, then the flesh load with fellow believers who can pray and stand in faith with you, we rebuke the devil my friend, in Jesus Name. We rebuke him right now, he has no right over any saved soul, we rebuke the enemy of souls, we tell him Jesus is our Lord, rebuke him my friend and he will flea.

But I also feel in my heart you need to pray about seeing a Christian counsellor, someone more experienced in the flesh issues you are experiencing, again it is sharing the load, for men this is often hard, we become desperate before we give in, for me, giving in to let the Lord help me and then to a Christian Counsellor was the best think I could do, the Holy Spirit worked through the doctor, through Margaret, through me, it took time but in the end I was set free. It is our heart felt prayer you will be too brother. We ask these things, we pray in Jesus Name. Amen

God Bless you Frank, asking for prayer is a great beginning, it sets the ball rolling my friend, please keep us up to date and when you want specific prayer just ask.

Jesus Loves YOU, we do too.

In His Love.

Thank you very much, and what is a small list of good deeds I can begin by doing? You are very very appreciated! And how is the best easiest spongiest way to study scripture? To soak in the most truth?

good deeds can be many things but I think the heart of them is serving other people putting their needs first and foremost, this is huge in helping lift our spirits IMO, just visiting a widow, or take her out to lunch, or maybe helping a child learn how to read, or going to feed the homeless, just helping your neighbor with something, there are many, many more, hopefully some others will chime in with some suggestions. I know for me helping widows and or orphans in anyway brings the greatest joy and lifting of the spirit

studying scripture is a personal thing, many different ways to do it, when I first came to Christ I was in the word 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening and I used this online ministry to help guide me Bible Studies, now I study for at least just 45 mins in the morning with prayers after that I just read the bible a chapter at a time underline things, and read the study notes, and take my personal notes on what I get from the chapter. Just exposing yourself to the word daily as much as you can is a must, I also listen to this guy often DTBM OnlineVideoTraining

as a matter of fact may I recommend you listen to this video if you get a chance

God bless you brother I am praying for your peace
