Well this sure is a strange subject for me to discuss!! You see not to bore any to tears! LOl My family did not do those kinds of things,as children growing up,no hugs, and no tears when discipline were ever allowed in my house! kissing family member??
Are you kidding?? A great many good sisters in Christ were talking to me about this, and this morning, the Holy Spirit was talking to me about this! I had always mantained Jesus never hugged anyone!! Nor did he ever hold anyone!! So we are not to either!! LOL ah oops How did this scripture get in there??? Rom 16:16 Greet oneanother with a Holy Kiss!! then 1 peter 5:14 same! What is this?? What is the point to doing this I wondered? Let me share a moment with you on what I have learned, and you all can determine if this is right or wrong.
To hug or hold someone not sexually either, means to be comforted, and to give comfort to another at the same time. There is an understanding in this as well that escaped me,to embrace another as Jesus embraces us,to hold close both a bond,or an understaning to the other, that we will always stay as close as brother or sister.
A hug or enbrace of affection meaning nothing shall break us apart from each other. This is all new to me,although I am sure not new to you. Last night in a dream,I was being held, by Jesus,he said to me in this dream, that that which holds us together in words, also holds us together in deeds as well, hence the embrace or understanding 2 people have, with each other. or a feeling of love. a tanigable feeling. Feeling? but, why? When one says they love another,do they not show this love?As I did on the cross,by doing this I was holding each of you very close to me,for were not all the sins of the entire world upon me? The beating I receieved were because,I was being hated so you could not be,true in the world people do hate, but I do not,and since i am the one who bore the scars of hated for you, would I not show my affection for my people? This is what is meant by a Holy Kiss, this hugging or embracing is done to remind each one of you the love I have for each of you! It is my nature, and those who wish to follow me become my nature.
Many have not been loved by family or friends, many have run from this love, because they feel they do not deserve it,and because they have no need of it.
This lie they tell themselves in order to remain protective. Love has no fear,it does not hold to race,or color,it holds to the understanding that like I need you,you need others. For if I had no need of people, then why would I have created them? Why would I go through so much? I suffered so you would not have to,never in love! For no matter what others say to you,I the Lord do not, nor will I ever change in my nature for any of you.
When one gives all he or she has, what else can that person give? A hug or enbrace is the reminder of this to each of you. So be not afraid, for even if another pulls away from you, know I never will, because mark I started love, and I will finish love in each who calls me there God! And with this in tears i awoke.
I have a better understanding now,on what a hug represents,it is still not easy for me to do this, but it is something now I want to learn how to do,because I now know its meaning! May you all consider this as well,a family member feeling a bit down,a best friend who just needs a hand on his or her back,as comfort. These things seem so small, but can mean so very much in such a hurting world!!
I am glad for the hug,may you all be as well!
Thank You Jesus for hugging us from the cross, and for coming back from the dead to preserve your love for us forever!! amen!
May the Body of Christ here, always feel hugged by you Jesus, and by each other! Thanks all for stopping by,thanks for the hug,I in Christ hug you back, and am so thankful to you all.And oh yea to the homeless man or woman on the street,Jesus loves them to,please remember that, when I was homeless for 3 years I sure could of used a hug. We become love brothers and sisters because our Father in heaven brought love to us! That which he did start in all of us,he is more then able to finish!! amen!
