1Thes 3:10; as we night and day keep praying most earnestly that we may see your face, and may complete what is lacking in your faith?
These people were already believers in Jesus. This letter was written to the church. So then, what was "lacking" in their faith?
Jas 1:2; Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
Jas 1:3; knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Jas 1:4; And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Again, this was written to believers. They already had faith in Jesus, so then.. what was lacking?
Matt 19:20; The young man *said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?"
This man also had the faith. What was he lacking?
