@FrankDSegura -- seeking forgiveness is realizing that you've done something wrong and asking the person for forgiveness who you have done something 'against'. If you're talking about God -- apparently you realize that you have done something against His will -- the Holy Spirit has convicted you about that -- so you talk to God about it -- tell Him what you've done that apparently Is wrong and ask Him to forgive you. And He does promise To forgive us.
