When do you think of God........

Dear friends,

I would like to classify the people within the body of Christ under 3 categories based on the following factors:

>>> When do you think of enjoying God's presence, in other words spend time with God.
>>> When do you trust in the Lord.

1) The first kind of people think of God only in times of trouble alone, but they forget Him in times of happiness.

2) The second kind of people think of God only in happy times alone, but in times of trouble they get shaken up and loose their faith (in other words forget about God). Ultimately they go astray.

3) The third kind of people think of God all the time and trust in Him, no matter happy times or times of trouble, no matter which place they may be. This is the kind of people we have to be, because when we think of Him, all we do is nothing but worshipping Him and praising Him.

When we worship God, we welcome His presence and God inhabits the praises of His people (psalm 22:3).

So it is high time that we analyse ourselves and make changes if necessary so that we trust in the Lord all the time and enjoy His presence.

Its a really good thing to remember I kno im guilty of only thinking of him when I need him in times of trouble but he should be apart of every aspect of our lives and we should make us avalible for him

I think about him all the time, its funny that I came across this. Just this morning I was singing a song of praise in my head, I usually have the radio going in my head if you know what I mean. A lot of times I talk in my head, sometimes I listen to myself saying things that I dont want to hear and I tell myself to zip it, but anyway, this morning as i was jamin out in my head I heard myself say, you know why dont you just talk to God in your head instead of yourself, he allready knows your thoughts anyway, him alone thats your place to talk to him just you and him, so keep in mind what you say to God in your head and dont let it run crazy....

anyway maybe im off base here but I like to be as transparent as possible, sometimes it might be a little hard to understand though...

I think about Him all the time. I've noticed when I'm in trouble or going through some bad times that I get close to Him like never before though. Thank God for the good and especially the bad times.

All the time!! He's my all in all, my refuge, strong tower, deliverer, my Father....the list is endless. I can do but nothing without Him. My all in all.

in our work etc, to honour him we need to focus on what the task that we are meant to be doing.

I consumed Him


and He in turn consumed me.


As perishable food


ceases to be a separate entity


once it enters me,


this bread and drink I drink and eat


ceases to be once it enters me


and I become It


and He becomes me.



This is the bread and water of life


which I consume and which consumes me


day and night.


My favorite breakfast, lunch, dinner,


brunch, dessert and appetizer.


I never thirst or hunger.


Upon sensing pangs,


I turn on the lamp,


rustle open the Bible


and I satiate my palate


with His word.



I eat and drink.


I am a glutton for such things.



And at the end of my meal,


I swallow the sword,


I cease to exist



so that He may live.

agree with this ^ when I am going through troubled times, I do call on Him more, and I get closer to Him then, than any other time.

I think of my Heavenly Father all the time, He drives me to be better everyday. Without His direction for my life, where would be? Lost and undone. I praise His holy name all the day long.
