John is probably a good choice, but I'm not aware of any scripture that identifies the disciple that the Messiah loved as being John. What do you have in mind?

James. He is simple worded and straight to the point.I picked James for 2 reasons,he got to go with Jesus to raise a child from the dead.( mark 5:37-42) and 2.Because the first book Holy Spirit gave me understanding in, is found in James, just how powerful words can become in our lives!!( James 3:1-18) And for those who guard there words also obtain the gentleness of wisdom.verse 13.also Col 4:6
