Who do you pray to? God, Jesus or both? For me, it depends. If I seek forgiveness, I sometimes pray to God but sometimes to Jesus. If I seek strength, I may pray to God or to Jesus. I mostly pray to Jesus. I see Him as the manager of the world and God as His boss. We answer to Jesus and tell Him our complaints and He talks to God.

Also, if memory serves me correct, God stopped interfering with the world long ago and "God interacting with people had become rare" it was when Jesus came that our gateway to God was reopened but through Jesus. Jesus has personally healed me THERE and THEN when I've prayed to Him for healing of a broken bone. If I wasn't meant to pray to Jesus, I wouldn't have been healed.

The answer to this question for me is as simple as reading one verse!!John 14:6 " Jesus said to him, I AM the way,AND!! the Truth,AND the LIFE NO ONE comes to the Father but THROUGH ME! as life said,Jesus is the way,for if you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father.( john 14:9-14) also John 10:30,and John 8:58 we know who that great I am is!! GOD! So to me when you pray to Jesus, you also are praying to God,for Jesus is the physcial prescence of God.

For me it is both, for God is my Heavenly Father and Jesus for he is the way (as Brighthouse said) and He is always there interceding for us.

This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9-10

Because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:24-25

It is such a delight and comfort to know that there is always an open door through prayer to a Father and His Son who loves us so completely.

Blessings,
Snowrose

I tend to pray using the term "the Lord". Occassionally I start with Heavenly Father. I end my prayers with in Jesus Name.

I figure Jesus prayed to His Father and he said we could pray to Him directly so I assumed we are to directly address God. Jesus is our advocate (in heaven) and it is by His Blood we get an audience before God so I end my prayers from time to time in the Name of Jesus.

REV 8:3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.

JC

There is no other name under Heaven by which a man can be saved.
Jesus Christ is the Way. He intoroduced himself to us. If you pray to Jesus you are automaticaly praying to God anyway. Think about it!

Baa, Baa.

All the prayers in the Bible are addressed to God the Father. That's how Jesus taught his disciples to pray.

True

Jesus was in the form of a man on Earth.
Jesus deferred to His father while on Earth.
Jesus only spoke what His father told Him to speak.

All things came into existence through Jesus Christ.
All things were created for Jesus Christ.
See chapter one of Colossians.

Jesus Christ is God, the Father is the same God, so is The Holy Spirit.

You are correct, but I know Jesus much better than His Father.
He is my sheperd. I hear His voice. I obey. Baa, baa.
