Who helped Apostle Paul the most?

The Apostle Paul wrote some of the letters and Epistles we read in the New Testament.

In most of his writings he mentioned people who had helped him.

However, there were different sorts of help given and perhaps even help not specifically mentioned but, as readers, we can see how he was helped.

In this thread, the question is, Who helped Apostle Paul the most? To expand this a little,
Apart from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost and Spirit of God, who helped Apostle Paul the most and how, and how did we come to that decision?

Just my opinion, but I think Barnabas was the most helpful to Paul. He offered the hand of fellowship when nearly all other christians would not, due to his past of persecution of christians. Then he learned a great lesson from Barnabas after Paul no longer trusted Timothy I think (because he left them when he was needed on one of Paul's journeys), and Barnabas, the apostle of love and forgiveness trusted Timothy enough to give him another chance in evangelism, and succeeded. Then Timothy became beloved of Paul, who was unwilling originally to trust him. Barnabas taught him to love those who even wronged you and hurt you, and give them another chance, both with him and with Timothy.

Bananas was the first name that came to mind, for the reasons Brad Huber gave.

Luke may have been most helpful in Paul's later ministry - but he is partly invisible because of his role writing the acts of the apostles. He may have underemphasised the part he played.

It's also remarkable how many women supported his ministry.

Do you have autocorrect in your posting? Your first word was a bit humorous. I know Luke wrote the gospel of Luke, but what did he write for Paul? I know Paul did have others write for him often, just not sure what Luke did.

Barnabas is good. Possibly Timothy.
If I had to say who helped carry on the legacy of Paul, after he was confined to Rome... I would probably say Timothy.

Luke also wrote the book of Acts. See Luke 1:1-4 and Acts 1:1. He may well have assisted in the writing of some of the letters, but nobody knows for sure.

The first named person who came to my mind is Onesimus. Philemon 1:10-13 pulls hard on my (and Philemon’s?) heartstrings. He may not have been the most helpful but Paul’s longing for him speaks loudly to me.

The Holy Spirit helped Paul the most by far...He taught him, guided him, gave him wisdom, provided for his needs, and brought him people to work with him....helping those people too

I would say Jesus.

Gal 1:11; For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
Gal 1:12; For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

One more verse that proves Jesus wasn't just a "man".

Paul's message to the Gentiles? - Jesus

Gal 1:17; nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus.
Gal 1:18; Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days.

Some scholars believe Jesus Himself (through revelation, or possibly vision) was teaching Paul in Arabia and Damascus.. possibly for as long as 3 years here.
Cephas is of course Peter.

Gal 1:19; But I did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.

Even after the three years was over, the only two Apostle that he met were Cephas (Peter) for 15 days, and James - (Jesus's biological half-brother)

Luke when writing acts could have been writing in Paul’s behalf to make a case for Paul’s innocence when Paul was imprisoned ( for years he gathered information) and I believe Paul was released “ in this case “due to Luke’s diligence

Luke’s book of acts is like the link between Paul and the New Testament without acts we wouldn’t know who paul was
The epistles would make no sense but acts introduces paul
I think this classifies Luke as one of Paul’s most important helpers

I think Epaphroditus may have been the biggest help. He nearly worked himself to death to brdge the gap between what the Philippian church sent and Paul's needs.

"I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill. Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. I am the more eager to send him, therefore, that you may rejoice at seeing him again, and that I may be less anxious. So receive him in the Lord with all joy, and honor such men, for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me." (ESV Phil 2:25-30)

Beyond any shadow of a doubt the person who helped the apostle Paul the most was the Holy Spirit

Who helped Apostle Paul the most?

Clearly it is Paul. He is accredited with about half the books of the NT. The Christianity that is practiced is that of Pauline theology rather than the theology taught by Jesus. Of the 22 or24 (depending) times Paul is called an apostle, it is all but two times Paul calling himself one. The other 2 times anyone calls Paul an apostle is both by Luke, but only after he states what the requirements of an apostle are-which clearly shows that Paul could not be one. Even though nearly everyone abandons Paul, it is Paul who has had the greatest influence on negating the message of Jesus in Christianity.
