:messenger Who will cry for the little boy, lost and all alone?
Who will cry for the little boy, abandoned without his own?
Who will cry for the little boy? He cried himself to sleep.
Who will cry for the little boy? He never had for keeps.
Who will cry for the little boy? He walked the burning sand.
Who will cry for the little boy? The boy inside the man.
Who will cry for the little boy? Who knows well hurt and pain.
Who will cry for the little boy? He died and died again.
Who will cry for the little boy? A good boy he tried to be.
Who will cry for the little boy, who cries inside of me?"

This poem reminds me of the so many abused children in this world today. And, I am not a shamed to crie for them, nor am I to busy, to pray for them. The world as big & wicked as it is, it was my hope that this poem would cause people to crie for these abused children, pray for them every day or at least every time they are reminded of the suffering that they are scarred with for the rest of thier lives, and the hope, that some day they will learn all about GOD & CHRIST JESUS, our Savior - to be free of the scars that taunt them.

You are very right, there are so many children scarred from childhood......and some do not even give it a second thought, that so many are suffering. We even need to think of the adults who are scarred too; be it from childhood or adult abuse, neglect, abandonment. So many just forgotten...it saddens my heart. Our prayers are needed for all these people and I could relate to this poem directly. As much as our prayers are needed for us to help to heal these scars we must spread the good news of Jesus (The Ultimate Healer) Praise God! 'How will they know unless we tell them?'

And you, too, my friend, are exactly right! I quote your words: "How will they learn unless we tell them" For GOD understood it that way as well when HE said: " "And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, `Thus says the Lord God,' whether they hear, or whether they refuse.'' {Ezekiel 33:11} HE knows we need to speek up & through our actions, we are to show them how it's done. By following & sticking to GOD'S Rules & Regulaions & to the Words of Christ Jesus, with the help of GOD'S Holy Spirit we can do it. We can do it! Just by trusting in Prayer & in the Power of our Almighty GOD! I truly believe this!
