Why do Christians explain away their sins?

Been this way ever since Adam and Eve.

Gen 3:12; The man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate."
 
Did he tell the truth exactly like it happen? She pick it off the tree and ate it. Then she gave it to Adam and He ate it. 2 reason why God Curse Adam. 1. He obeyed his wife instead obeying God. 2. And he ate from a tree God told him not to. Moral of this story obey God and not a human.❤️
