In a world where there are so many people and so many opportunities to be living life to its fullest, why is it that loneliness sometimes seems to dominate our thoughts?

Yes, I have a daily relationship with my maker. It's just that everything surrounding me in this world seems so distant.

I have felt this way so many times before. Truly though ... Everything changed when I fully committed to a daily discipline which included more prayer and devotion in the Word of God.

I began to understand that this world cannot offer the hope and joy that only God can give.

My identity is in Christ and He alone can fill the empty void of loneliness .... If we allow Him to.
