Why do I have horrible dreams after I read the bible?

its called the good news but its causing me to have anxienty and depression. I mean everytime i read scriptures I have bad dreams. Im scared of going to hell, i tried to keep myself from sinning its like walking on egg shells. Im only human.

LOL, In the long run that fear, might be just the thing, You need to keep YOU, out of "Hell"! One thing for sure 'Hell" is real! Now, that is what I call, "Good News" And all that "anxiety, depression and bad dreams" are called "side effects" of "the Good News"! Just keep taking your Medicine [Scriptures]. And please do not miss any doses!

From my experience I can tell you when I was very young in the Lord I would also have bad dreams after reading the Bible even to the point I would leave the light on at night!

One thing the bible reveals to us is that we have total authority and power over the devil. Satan and his fallen demonic angels do not want you to the "venture" into the spiritual realm where you have authority over them. Fear is one of their greatest weapons against the body of Christ. Dreams that can cause fear is very powerful! Now that I have been save for over 40 years I rarely if ever have those kinds of dreams anymore.

Learn from scripture what God has given you and exercise your authority in the name of Jesus Christ and the devil will flee from you.

Luk 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

Act 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
