Muslims claim Islam is a religion of peace. However, unlike Christianity, Islam believes in the concept of self defence, which Christianity does not condone.⁠

Yes, its beginnings started in violence and continued on to this very day, and will continue in violence until it is squashed by Jesus. At least Mohammad refused to sack the Holy City of Jerusalem and the jews living there at the time, and he could have if he wanted to, but admitted that it was given to the jews by God. So he refused to attack it. His followers today dont agree with their own prophet on that.

Islam follows the Quaran // Christianity follows the Bible / God's Word. There is no comparison.

Islam has promised to take over this world -- either a person 'bows' to it or they die. And Islam doesn't care which -- just so people 'bow' to them.

Not sure which would be worse -- Islam or socialism.

Christianity // God's Word offers the only hope for eternal life with God in heaven through Jesus Christ. The Only Risen Savior.

What say you in regard to the defense of others who are unable to defend themselves? For example: you watch a plot unfold by two men to kidnap a young child for sex-trafficking. There is no time or manner in which you can call for police intervention. The only thing standing between the pedophile sex-traffickers and that child is you, and only your violent physical intervention will save the child. What do you do?

In addition the Quran, there are instructions contained in the Hadiths. I do not recall the specific surahs, but the Quran states that Muslims, Christians, and Jews are all brothers of the same God. Later on, the Quran contains warnings against those who believe Jesus to be the only begotten Son of God. The Quran also contains instructions on how to handle disbelievers (considered to be infidels). The Quran does give permission to make war against them.

While Muhammad left the Jews in Jerusalem alone, he did attack Jews settlements in his area. This led to his poisoning by a Jewish woman he took from her husband, and returned to kill all the males in the village. Muhammad didn't ingest enough of the poison to kill him, but his health increasingly declined causing him to die three years later. Cheers
