Our brains are so complex
really so hard to fathom
we can think one thing
but not know where it's from
Then in a moment change
to something completely opposite
why is this so?
it really does not fit
Our lines of thought is a muddle
wish it could be sorted out
the brain's a funny old thing
it makes you cast many a doubt
This subject won't ever be sorted
humanity's tried since creation
as since Eve ate that apple
we've sought some mental elevation
So we're stuck with our lot
muddled mixed up and confused
but if we had Solomon's wisdom
the mind would be peacefully soothed
