Will God, deceive you? If so, why and show “Holy Scriptures”

Would God, deceive people, if so, what fashion would He use? Would God deceive His own people and if so why, and how. Have you ever read in your “Bible” where GOD deceived people, I have , quite a few times and in some places He said He would deceive people.

I know this is not for everyone, I know that. But there are a few, who want to launch out into the Deep and the Deep- ness of GOD. And you have to be clothed with a deep diving suit, some say, you don’t Need all of that, I understand that too. I have heard many of “Christians” that said: I’m not that deep, I’m shallow, I would think to my self, you are not shallow, you are on the “Beach” playing, “volleyball and beach ball“. there are more “Holy Scriptures” to confirm. There are great stories, of the “Strategies” of God” in the bible. But. Remember always (that “vengeance” and “revenge”) always belong to the “LORD”. Capital “LORD” not “Lord” there is a difference .

God Is Sovereign - - Yes, absolutely.

Isn't that one passaage talking about prophets -- there Are false prophets. These couple of passages are talking about God's actions in a particular set of circumstances with Old Testament prophets.

Your comment makes it sound like God will deceive people on purpose. Sounds like you're Almost putting God in the same arena as satan being the master deceiver / liar of mankind.

God does Not 'lie' to mankind. If He did -- then how would 'we' be able to Trust Any of His Word.

You are setting up a scenario for people To potentially think that God can't be trusted. And ya Don't want to do that.

There is a verse that says 'A fool has said in his heart that there is no God." found in Psalm 14:1 "The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, There is none who does good."

And I've known a couple of people who seem to be okay with picking apart Scripture just because they Can.. There's one on this forum like that. Their mind-set seems to be that since they are using the KJV that they can pick any verse in Scripture and get it to say anything they want it to and be Right because, after all, it Is the KJV. And They feel that they are finally getting to the real truth, when in reality they are badly misled.

I agree concerning deception. For Satan has deceived the whole world, There are many things we all are deceived in ( speaking in terms referring to the children of God now)! We all walk in a dark place. He is our light that shines on our path, guides our feet. But the path is so narrow, and hard is “The Way”! On that path, the winds blow, the storms come, the valleys are low, the mountains are high, the rivers are sometimes wide, the creeks are strong yet not deep but still has it’s perils. Sometimes it is cope and travel in weakness, weariness, lonely,-ness, dis- hearted, but one thing He promise, He would carry us through.
“As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,!i will fear no evil, for thou art with me”!
