Well yes I would like the see an Angel; I fell they can be so gentle and at the same time be mighty super natural messengers. The word says we shall judge angles. I always have one by my side when I go on the streets, and you can too, amen. Look we have the whole army of God's angles at spoken word.
1 Chronicles 21:15-16 KJV (King David saw an angel)
And God sent and angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it; and as he was destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jubusite.
And David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

I don't want to see an angel. Most angels in the new testimate cause the person to be overwelmed to the point of falling down. This would be embarrassing. Angels also have a fun nack of killing people. 185,000 dead in a single night in II kings 19:35, the verse you mentioned, all of revelations, well, pretty much everywhere in the bible.

If an angel comes not to kill you but talk to you, that's just as bad, cuz he's gonna want you to do something lol.

Angels that protect, you usually don't see, or even know they protected you, except for rare instences.

Main reason I wouldn't wanna see an angel? Couple people in the Bible, and in history, when seeing one, worshiped it. Even the angels can't stand that. You're to worship the creator, not the creations, and it was an "angel" that appeared to mohammad that gave us Islam. Satan and the devils apear as angels, and even though I know what the bible says about testing them, and what to look for, I got a feeling pride could get in the way, as well as being over welmed.

I know they exist. I know they are out there. I don't need to see one.

I did see an angel. I very much believe it was an angel. They can make themselves appear as a human. If I had known he was an angel when he was speaking to me, I would have fainted! Later, while traveling home after jail ministry, I realized he couldn't have done what he'd done, know what he knew, and said what he'd said to me--unless he was an angel. It was then that I became overwhelmed! For this angel who had appeared like a human had enabled a prisoner to come out of the jail cell so that she could pray with me and receive Christ! Hallelujah!

That's the most likely account of of "angel" in modern day... realizing it after and freeking out. As I pointed out above

fbipeeper - Read the Word of God it says -
Hebrews 13:2 "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

I'm not saying I won't, or haven't, or could see an angel, I'm saying I'd rather NOT see one. Read my above post explaining why, and keep in mind it's written in a light mood with a smile
