Hello to everyone! I'm brand new here - taking some time to look thru the threads and read a little - very interesting discussions.
I may be unique to the mix here, having been a Jehovah's Witness. I faded away from that organization about 3 years ago, immediately after Christ Jesus 'found' me. It's been an awe-filled journey of epiphany, revelation and light to truly come to know my Saviour instead of having him kept at arm's length and just learning 'facts' and taking in knowledge about him. (Hopefully I'll be able to help anyone needing information or insight in witnessing for Jesus to Jehovah's Witnesses - theirs is a complex theology with unique doctrines twisted away from scripture, resulting in their trademaked brand of "Truth". They're usually hard to reach because they're on guard and wary, having been taught that all other religions are Satanic/demonic - theirs is "The Only One True Religion". The good news is that(of all the ones I've known) Witnesses truly love God and try to do their best to serve Him as taught, but they're still desperately yearning for, longing for, and thirsting for Christ in their lives - they just need help to see what's missing - a gentle nudge in the right direction.)
When I discovered the truth about Christ it was like having thick scales fall from my eyes like Saul on the road to Damascus :lightbulb - the light was and still is blindingly bright! :shade:
So that's a little of my history. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all here and join in the discussions at some point... where to start... hmmmm. Lol.
