when the night is dark and the moon is full and theres no one else around
there you are to hold me close and secure in your love ive found
you are my light that leads me through this dark and cold night
because of your grace and love i have a clear sight
there is a path ahead of me one that clear and straight
because that path with you everyday ill take
there is no other way ill go
because i will always love you so
the night maybe cold and it maybe dark
but your light shines strong and you are the brightest spark
you give me clear direction when i can not see ahead
and i know you feel and hear every tear i shed
for my path ahead is clear and straight
