Hi all.

I came to accept Jesus in my life back in 1999 and was water baptized in year 2000..However, in 2001, I backslided and ceased to attend services and stopped being a choir in our church. 10 years without God...10 years without fellowship. I've been involved in some immoral thing including having a relationship with a lesbian for 3 years. My life was a mess. Until 2 weeks ago. The Lord called me. I just found myself inside my old church.

Now I am fighting this urge to go back to my old life and my lesbian partner. I am doing my best to change myself. Please help me..Please pray for me.

Hello FirmFoundation,

I will definately be praying for you that you do stand strong in the foundation that we know as Jesus Christ. Without Him we can do nothing, but with Him you can do all things
by Jesus who strengthens you.

When that tempations comes creeping back in and the enemy who is satan attacks you can do this..turn it into a praise and worship session. Thank our Lord for not only calling you back to Him but delivering you from the very hands of the enemy who was seeking to destroy you and continue to thank Him and praise Him over and over...Then through our Lord Jesus you can rebuke that which comes against you. Jesus tells us in the bible that at the very sound of His name satan and his demons must flee they have no power over you my sister and friend in Jesus...because you have the very thing they cannot fight..You have Jesus Christ residing you in and By His might and power those demons must flee...they tremble because they know He is King of Kings and they cannot match and never will match His power.

I want to leave you with a few bible verses to read and hold on to. I have a special book I write verses down in and maybe that is something else you can do as well. have a special journal where you write verses from the bible and your personal feelings to and for God in. Remember our Lord loves you and you are precious to Him. He knows your struggles and now you have Him to lean on and don't have to do it alone.

1 Cor.6:18-20 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of The Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price therefore glorify God in our body and in your Spirit which are God's.

1cor.6:12 all things are lawful for me,but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

You will not be brought under the power of any because you have a power far greater than anything that can come against you...You have Jesus Christ and He has delivered you my sister in Jesus. In and through Him you have become a conqueror..I want you to
know I do not write this in condemation because I too have struggled in my life and have
fallen short, but I wrote this in the love of our Lord Jesus because He wants you to know
He is there...keep on drawing closer and closer to Him and know that you are loved more than anyone on this earth can ever love you because you are loved by the very one who created this earth...the very one who created You and knew you before you were even formed....the very one who loved you sooo much He laid down His life for you.. now that is love like no other love...I pray that His love, strength, power, comfort, peace
surround and fill you now and always. God bless you my sister and friend in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, you know the trials we are under. A daughter of yours calls out for help, and we join you in bringing her before you. Please hear our pleas on her behalf. Your Word says you will never forsake us, that you would not give us nothing that we could not handle...Please Father God, help this child in something that is not only torturing her flesh, but her spirit as well. Erase this yearning; replace it with your word, with what is pure and holy. Let her be a vessel worthy of your presence. We pray for you intersession through your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord, our King, our Savior. Amen, Amen, Amen

The verse that member Agua cited is very important for you to note. You do not have the power to change yourself, only God's Holy Spirit can do that. That's why He's God and you aren't. I strongly suggest that you obtain a study Bible and begin studying the gospels.

Hallo FirmFoundation

I do really feel for you and while reading your letter I felt the Holy Spirit move in me. I felt major compassion and love. I experience that the Lord really wants to help you and He loves you majorly, seriously, without a doubt very very much.

What I learned in my life is we can never do anything out of ourselves. God gave His Son Jesus to die for us on the Cross while we were still sinners. He didn't need our influance to make His decision. He made it out of Pure Love for us and Grace.

I also experienced difficulties with my flesh - I had an anger problem. The more I concentrated to change the anger problem and myself the more I saw things wrong with me and before I knew it, I was hopelessly depressed with myself. But the Holy Spirit lead allot of my brothers and sisters as well as books and the bible on my path to tell me that I must forget about my short commings/faults and put my full concentration on Jesus - for example: talk to Him, spend time with Him, wait in silence for Him to answer you, learn more about Him, read the bible allot and listen to allot of good gospel music. Correct gospel music will cause the Holy Spirit to ster inside of you, you'll feel it in your stomach (my own experience)

And talking about gospel, there's a great song by Hillsong called "Turn your eyes upon Jesus - it says: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderfull face. And the things of this world will grow strangely dimm, in the Light of His glory and grace"

Hope you feel much better and I would like to pray for you now:

Dear God our Father, I come to you in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ and I bring my sister to You, You made her dear Father, You created het heart and her mind, You know the state of it at this very moment. Father You say in Your Word that You are a God of impossible things and we want to thank You in this prayer for helping this sister in her journey towards You, to be closer to You, to be one with You. We believe in our hearts that she is a overcommer, a mountain mover and that You didn't give her a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2Tim1:7) Father we know that she will become a strong tool in Your hands to lead more lesbian strugglers to You dear God, because You know that thats an area in this world thats being rejected by first glance and so You are working on this sister to prepare her for her mission to help those people because she understands their frustration, hurt and pain. Thank you dear Lord God that You are always, always there for us and that You will NEVER give up on us.

We love You and we will praise Your Name forever. Thank you for the Almighty work that You are already doing in this sisters life. Thank you. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I can feel God moving into my life...slowly, I am savouring every small details. I pray that this goes on until I am fully recovered. God bless us all.
