For All Those Reading This,

I myself don't know personally the heartaches, hurts and situations you have gone through, but God Almighty does...He knows everything and He Loves you...make no mistake about that...no matter where you are in this life or how far away you may think you are...You Are NEVER to far from our Lord Jesus that He won't run to you when He sees you coming.

As sat and listened to a song that is near and dear to my heart by Phillips, Craig and Dean called " God Ran" I was driven By God our Father
to share with you this Message

" My Child I know how far you have strayed, I know the pain, sorrow, and how ashamed you feel and I know you feel there is no way back to Me, but know this there is always a Way and I am Here...I see you coming and I run to you with My Arms open wide to you and want you to know that I love you...there is no greater love or no forgiveness greater than Mine...I will hold you to me and embrace you and let you know I am sooooo joyful that you have returned home to Me. There will be a great celebration in heaven for you because you my son/daughter have come home..."Welcome Home I have been waiting for you and its going to be alright now...I'm here I've always been here waiting for you and am so glad you are here. "

This is what our Lord in Heaven wants you to know. His Son Jesus died so that a way was made for us to be reconciled to Him. Jesus not only took our punishment but in obedience to the Father and out love for us laid down His life so that we could come to Him and He would provide for us a way to the Father in Heaven. As long as there is a breath of life in you...you can be saved you are not to far away no matter what you have done or how bad you think you are God loves you and wants you. Go to Him Take Him as Lord and Savior of your Life and Yes He will run to you just as He ran to me when I was lost, ashamed, alone and felt so far away. He is there..don't ever doubt that.

I want to leave with everyone of you who is reading this post some of the words to the song " God Ran"

I felt so ashamed, alone and very far away, Then I saw Him run to me, He held my head to His chest said my son/daughter has come home again lifted my face wiped the tears from eyes and with forgiveness in His voice He said son/daughter do you know I still love you..He caught me my suprise and drove me to my knees When I saw Him run to me. He took me in His arms held my head to his chest said my son/daughter has come home again lifted my face wiped the tears from my eyes and said son/daughter He called me son/daughter and said do you know I still love you.
This is what happens when we come to Him...I want to encourage each person who feels like they can't or not worthy to come to Jesus to come to Him because the truth is none of us is worthy but through His grace, mercy and love we are able to come and through Him made righteous.

May His blessings surround you and fill you to overflowing and His love and peace sustain you in all the days of your life. God bless you and if you are reading this...GOD LOVES YOU!

Thanks for this powerful reminder of God's enduring love! Very uplifting!

This reminds me of the famous Prodigal Son parable (Lk 15:11-31) which is really not about the Prodigal only, but about his stiffnecked rulekeeping older brother as well. Although the older brother was still formally connected to the father, spiritually he was as far away from him as the younger brother, albeit in a different direction.

You're right, Ed. But just imagine. Here is the elder son, faithful, reliable, trudging to work every day for the family, responsibilities etc etc. Then along comes little Joe - he's had a whale of a time spending his inheritance. His father welcomes him back with pomp and ceremony...yet does he deserve it? Yes - WE know he does, but I can really identify with poor older brother too - such a thing to have to come to terms with.

Isn't it odd how the Lord has used the "naughty one" in so many instances? Jacob was a con artist and a fibber but the Lord honoured his inheritance, although obtained by trickery from a brother who valued it little anyhow. Abraham told fibs about Sarah being his sister etc. Maybe God loves the forceful and fearless heart, do you think? And God gave Jacob quite a few years under Laban to grow up and learn.

I used to read the OT about Moses and the Children of Israel and be shocked at how easily they seemed to lose faith. They whined about manna, they wanted to go back to Egypt where "at least we had food". They growled about all manner of things. Taken on a tour of the Judean desert in 98% humidity with about 6 million compatriots, babies, lambs, bulls, sheep and nowhere to wash...I may get a little grumpy too. But we are in a place where faith in the Lord God of Heaven bolsters us up. We don't need intermittent fire and cloud - we have 24/7 quiet Spirit - the Comforter that the poor old Israelites did not have. Makes me a little frightened to assume I know ANYONE'S situation if I'm not in it.

Maybe God loves the forceful and fearless heart, do you think?

Each true believer's heart becomes forceful and fearless as they grow in their relationship with Him. They're not necessarily forceful and fearless in the beginning of their born-again walk; I most certainly wasn't

And God gave Jacob quite a few years under Laban to grow up and learn.

I believe that every true believer is on an upward spiritual learning curve that won't end until we go to be with Jesus at the end of this life.

Amen to that. Very true for all believers. GOD is merciful, patient and unwilling that any perish.

Some Scripture to keep in mind for those who doubt GOD's love and patience, and forgiveness for your backsliding.

2 Peter 3:8-10

Even those Christians who have went astray from the Lord, GOD welcomes back. How much will He welcome the lost sheep who seek His forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus?

Luke 15:11-32

The Parable of the Lost Son

11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. 13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
<sup class="versenum" id="en-NIV-25606">
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
<sup class="versenum" id="en-NIV-25611">
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
<sup class="versenum" id="en-NIV-25614">
25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
<sup class="versenum" id="en-NIV-25617">
28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31 “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

I think this scripture isnt talking about born again believers but of people in general.

Even those Christians who have went astray from the Lord, GOD welcomes back. How much will He welcome the lost sheep who seek His forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus?

This seems typical thinking among christians that if some one backslides or does not fit their defintion of christian then he's not much worth. But I think God loves them just the same.

God does love them. But, since God is absolute perfection and sin is imperfection, their indulgence in sin separates them from Him.
