It is by revelation that someone comes to understand the Godhead. God came in the flesh to conquer sin, as there was no other way, thus the begotten Son, or flesh, when He left the earth, He sent the Comforter, His spirit, the Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit. This is why we are to read His word and hide it in our hearts. He reveals Himself through His word. Three manifestations of One God, not One God in three 'persons'. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />
He expects His children to seek His face, and know His voice. There are a lot of scriptures that read differently when we get past our own understanding. Sometimes I think it is pride that stops some people from even considering looking at things in a different light, what would people think if a Pastor “suddenly” had a different view? God knows the heart, and those that are seeking Him with their all. Just as it is hard to lead some people to accept Christ as their Savior and turn from sin, so is it difficult to point out going just a bit deeper into the personality of God. The individual has to have a "want to".
God meets everyone at whatever level they are at, it is when we get stagnant and think we know everything, then we all need to get worried. I sure don’t know it all!!
God really left nothing out, it is just a matter of taking Him at His word.

GOD came into flesh , to pay the price of sin! Sin always gives death! it always has!
He came to pay the price than ,those willing to make new Creatures!
sin is still here , and in fact our bodies ALl die because of sin!
Our spirit before salvation are still defiled by sin and will all go to hell to await judgment , unless we accept HIS gospel and HIM as LORD and Master!

Many pastors teach many different things , that is why we have such divisions on earth!
We can only live in the truth and understanding we have!

Even pastors within the same group , preach different understandings!

The bond is JESUS CHRIST and The Cross! We Only follow Him!

1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

You know? God gives each of HIS children , a part of HIS being!
Too me this appears harder to believe, How can give millions of parts of HIM self to HIS kids!

But I know its try! and HE says if we want more of HIm , dwelling with our Spirit? We just ask our Father God and He gives us More of HIMSELF!

Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

This whole planet and everything on it is suffering from sin and everything is dying 100%

God started a brand new Creation and beginning!
He started with mankind , Those willing to accept HIS gospel and HIM as LORD!

He ends by creating a new earth and heavens !
Very simple for us to be a part of this New creation!

I do not think HE could have made it any easier for mankind!

Yes He says? Many are called and few chosen!

satan has tricked many to think they will lose something! When in fact we Gain Everything!

Wow!!!! You really hit the stone on the head.. I was still looking for a way the lord will help me to explain better but you have done justice to it all. I AM THAT I AM IS THE SAME PERSON THAT CAME AND DIE ON THE CROSS, RESSURECTED AND ALSO CAME BACK AS THE HOLY-SPIRIT NOW LIVING INSIDE OF ME AND YOU AS CHRISTIAN.
THESE CAN ONLY COME BY REVELATION FROM HIM, NO TEACHER CAN TEACH YOU THAT. IN FACT, THEY WILL PRESENT YOU WITH MANY THINGS SUCH AS GOD IS THREE IN PERSON OR GOD IS LIKE A MAN THAT HAVE THREE HEAD WITH ONE BODY OR GODHEAD IS THREE DISTINCT PERSONALITY BUT MY GOD IS ONE NOTHING MORE OR LESS!!!
"I AM THAT I AM" IS THE SAME PERSON AS FATHER, AS SON , ALSO THE HOLY-SPIRIT AND AS FOR THEIR NAME IS JESUS CHRIST!
BUT IF THAT IS THE TRUTH, BY WHAT NAME WERE YOU BAPTIZED? IS IT IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER,THE SON AND OF THE HOLY-SPIRIT? OR IS IT IN JESUS NAME?

IT WASN'T ONLY PETER THAT BAPTIZED THOSE WHO WERE SAVED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST BUT PAUL ALSO DID THE SAME THING.
SO BRETHREN IN WHAT NAME WERE YOU BAPTIZED OR ARE YOU GOING TO BE BAPTIZED?!!!!!!!!!!

IF JESUS IS THE LORD, AND HIS ALSO THE I AM THAT I AM, ALSO THE SAVIOR AND ALSO THE KING? THEN WHY ARE YOU BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY-SPIRIT? WHY NOT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST? OR WILL YOU SAY THE APOSTLE ERR? AND I AM VERY SURE THAT PAUL DID NOT ALSO ERR BY BAPTIZING IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Please ponder on these and let the Holy-Spirit minister to you.

I think it's good for ppl to read John's Gospel chapters 13 to 17, and there see Father, Son and Holy Spirit all working together for the redeeming of the Lord's people.

John's First Epistle, too, is a mighty, confirming short book of the Bible, which can greatly strengthen faith, showing at the same time Father, Son and Holy Spirit working together.

Very accurate too. It is most unforunate that we have become so arrogent to think our birth right is to be saved. This to spite Jesus' entire ministry was hinged on Him being at the service of others making sure every step of the way He could reprove that the way He lived was essential to being as He is. This places us near the front of the line the day of judgement. As sinners no one deserves a place in God's Kingdom, but through grace in all faith, lights up how we lived our lives and whether we followed Jesus' lead, or if we simply accepted the Lord to fit in and couldn't be bothered to see life through Jesus' eyes.

You posted this a little backwards and I'm not sure if it is a typing error or something other but the scripture reads we are saved by grace through faith and not by faith through grace.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

The differences are immense and cause the gospel to be misunderstood.:wink:

Also: the truth of Father, Son and Holy Spirit are mentioned by the Lord Jesus when He gives the Great Commission at the end of Matthew 28, so the Trinity is a vital truth.

Yes you are right about this but have you read your Acts of Apostle? where was it mention? Isn't that the Apostle got the revelation of what The Lord was saying to them and went ahead baptizing people in the name of Jesus Christ?.

And re baptism, both formulae are found in Scripture.

I will gladly receive it, if you can show me where the second formula was used(the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy-Spirit). I believe the revelation of the things of God is progressive and we must position ourselves to receive from Him. That is why i asked everyone to declare the NAME that the Lord manifested while on earth and also the name by which all Christian are being kept. I have many scripture for these but what i believe is that we should position ourselves to hear from Him not just the letter of the word.

I'm still also looking forward to a day that I will share with everyone what the Lord has taught me as regard the Person of Holy-Ghost(Holy-Spirit) and His Identity. I believe we are at the verge of knowing all that the Lord want us to Know in this dispensation. This is a period that the Lord is revealing Himself to them that are willing to receive from Him and set apart what they have known or been taught. THIS IS THE PERIOD OF HOLY-SPIRIT NOT AS IT WAS AT PENTECOST BUT IN THE HOLY OF HOLY ... I hope evryone of us understand that.

I'm not just suggesting: the Holy Spirit never contradicts the Spirit-inspired Word of God, the Bible.

And remember, in John's Gospel, the Lord Jesus says, of the Holy Spirit, 'He shall not speak of Himself... He shall glorify me'.

(Otherwise my opinion about the Holy Spirit would be as good as yours.)

Maybe you are right. It's like we are not understanding ourselves here. For when i refer to Holy-Spirit i linked it to HOLY OF HOLY and in that regard I'm just referring to something of great important which is our Christian journey. For there is OUTER COURT, INNER COURT and the HIGHEST of all is HOLY OF HOLY and in this place, it is a place of hearing and following Holy-Spirit not just LETTER of the WORD. If the Lord does not teach me His word all i will get from there are just letter and head knowledge.

You quoted John 20:28, where Thomas answered Jesus, "My Lord and my God!" Then you asked: Why did Jesus not rebuke him for calling him God?

Clearly, Thomas refers to the resurrected Jesus, as "My Lord and my God!" This verse shows why 'context' rather than 'just a verse' is so important when understanding the Bible. A few verses earlier, John the writer quoting Jesus saying 'himself' in John 20:17: "I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God." (ANIV) If Jesus is God in human form, why would he say that? Does the Bible writer John not know whether he is God or his first born son in creation? Is this an example of where the Bible contradicts itself as some people claim? Considering the context, John goes on to writes in John 20:31: "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." (ANIV)

Clearly, Jesus is 'a' mighty god, Isaiah 9:6, in the sense of coming from the heavenly realm, and being compared to humans, but he is not, Almighty God! After all, the term god, has a wide application, in 2 Corinthians 4:4, the apostle Paul refers to Satan as a god! "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (ANIV)
