God is holy and full of light and righteousness. Anything corrupt and wicked therefore cannot abide in his presence. There is a verse from the bible which says: ''The light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not''- John 1:5 The two cannot co-exist together which is why the bible also says: '' A double minded man is unstable in all his ways''- James 1:8

The righteousness of God.
We were MADE the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. In other words, we have right standing with the Father, it's a gift, we did not earn it.
Even when my Body Gets sick, I stand up, and say "No you don't sickness, you have no place in my life. You can't stay here."
These last two days, I have been feeling Horrible. I did confess a few scriptures, (Quick fix) but that is not enough. Our minds need to be constantly renewed. I turn on the internet and here is a whole sermon about the righteousness of God. Wow, How I let things I know slip into becoming not as real.
Sin is a Killer:
It's not God's ability to forgive, or his ability to not take thought of Wrongs you have done, sin destroys our confidence toward God. Sin can drag you down, and destroy you.
Even people with what appears to be life long conditions say.... "Because I have been disobedient to God, this happened to me."
It's not that God won't forgive, and restore, their heart is cracked toward the power of the Blood, and mercy of God. Sin, has ruined them.
Giving place to the devil, having no confidence in God to protect and help is a bad place to be.
Jesus Is Lord.

Yeah, I figured he was speaking about willful or premeditated sin which God finds to be especially wicked.
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins- Hebrews 10:26

adam in the book of genisis is a good example of this. God said dont eat this fruit: Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
they sinned: Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
only two verses later the seperation becomes evident: Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
another two verses: Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
continuing on in verse 15 God curses the serpent, verse 16 the woman, and verses 17, 18 and 19 God gave adam his punishment.
in the KJV devils are sometimes refered to as unclean spirits. sin makes us unclean. Only Jesus can cleanse us. when we sin we abandon Gods presence. God is still there. God will never leave or forsake us. we turn from him. just as adam did. god said.... adam/we didnt listen and do, then we become distant. perhaps even as adam fearful to re-enter Gods presence. and hide from Him. and after that it is possible for consequinces. the only way to make it right is repent. to be cleansed By Jesus.

I was thinking of Adam. It was his first offense. He HID from GOD. Why? The guilt of what he had done? Was it the guilty feelings that caused him to hide from GOD. I say thee Yay! I also thought of me. I sin occasionally. When I do I feel ashamed and tend to hide too. Now I agree, that's stupid. But how many of us get separated from GOD by guilty hiding?
Let me ask. Did GOD leave Adam? No Adam continued talking. Adam prayed and GOD did bless Adam Adam offered sacrifices, His sons did too,and when one of them did it in the wrong spirit GOD corrected him, or tried. GOD spoke to him when he killed his brother. No. GOD was there all along.
I got saved. The HOLY SPIRIT lives inside of me....If I sin, does the HOLY SPIRIT go out of me? HE said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" So then where is the separation but when I hide from HIM?
There is broken communications there. You feel fear and then you run and hide.

My two cents, God has been pouring out His Spirit on all flesh since the Pentecost after Christ was raised up, yet people are not dropping dead in His presence, indeed it is evident that Jesus most definitely took care of all our sins as far as Father is concerned and we are all justified righteous and without any fault.

thats why because God is Holy we have access to God's presence through Jesus blood.
Jesus opened the way to us into the "holy of holies".
which symbolizes place where only high priest was allowed to enter once in a year.
now we have access to there, in spiritual sense , though Jesus blood.

It still has not been answered..How can I be separated from GOD when HE resides inside of me? "Behold! I will never leave you..."

we need to develop a saving faith that embraces Jesus Christ at all times. it means realizing that He died to pay the penalty for our sins and applying His sacrificial offering to our sinful life-he is our High Priest for all those who put their trust in Him.
We have to ask ourselves daily-why did I do that? what was my motive for something? sometimes we are not honest with ourselves and hide the truth about some things we do. Through self deception, we sometimes turn sins into virtues-e.g.the person who finds faults with others and spreads it around as gossip. when reprimanded we cover our guilt by maybe saying " I guess I'm just too honest for my own good "
Evil is the product of covering up our sins and refusing to face up to our guilt. Look at King David in the Bible and Adam as was mentioned by others.
it's easy to fall into spiritual lethargy, and it is nourished by the lack of resistance in our lives
We can be overcomers with the help of the Holy spirit and turning to God in repentance, continuously keeping our focus fixed on Jesus.
Heb4:16- we may " approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of

Some of this is interesting. It does smack of self works though.
1 Our own faith is useless. We need HIS faith to live...
Romans 12:3

2 Dealing with sin in our lives is a bit simpler. Admit it, quit it, forget it.
Admit it and quit it are under confession and repentance. Do you need scriptures? (Just asking)

You're correct that he will never leave or forsake us, but when we're living in willful sin, we also cannot have the same kind of relationship with him. But he is longsuffering and patient with his flock, and as soon as one repents and turns to him, he will accept you with open arms.

It means that if you have faith you will act on it or you don't really have faith. If I believe that I am healed and have faith that I am healed, but then I don't send the sickness back where it came from, when it comes at me, I don't really have that faith. Actually its more like I'm not using it, because we've all been given the measure of faith.
Faith that is not acted on is dead faith. Believing and faith I think, are not the same.
