What Language?

A question posed to me....In heaven, what language will we be speaking? Personally I think it will be Hebrew...What do you think?
 
I've heard others express that opinion as well, but I don't know of any place in the Bible that clearly states that. There is indication from the Scriptures that there is some sort of language in heaven. I'm thinking specifically of the mention of "new names" in the book of Revelation. To me, "new names" implies a new language, and a new language suggests it's one we don't already know. There is reference to tongues in the Bible, but that's in a different context. I don't know of any passage in the Bible that says that. Have you found one? How did you come to that conclusion?

Hebrew was spoken since the beginning...It is an amazingly full and complex language...Each letter has meaning, each syllable, each word...each letter has a number..is a number
When the Hebrew people were scattered over the globe the language was lost...almost but a seed remained and now it's grown again into the original language...Like a seed taken from the pyramids...Planted, it grows....No other language has done that...Latin, dead language...nobody speaks it. It's only used by specialty groups...Sanskrit...on of the oldest languages on the planet..The root of many other languages...a dead language.....See what I mean? Hebrew is the only language on the planet that draws pictures, sounds, feelings,and results all with one phrase....No other language can do that. Hebrew follows a formula...Each letter in the Hebrew alphabet (or aleph-bet) has a numerical value. The first 10 letters (consonants actually) have the values 1-10. The next 9 letters are valued 20, 30, ... 100. The remainder are valued 200, 300, and 400. The number values for each character are shown in the table below. There is no representation for zero (0). This is the system used by Hillel II in the fourth century A.D., when he prescribed the rules for the Hebrew calendar system.

Not actualll gibberish, but what would be gibberish to us now. I think it will be a new language.

What language woulddd GOD choose to speak. It's gotta be amazing right? God is, so His language must be off the hook. Jesus spoke Aramaic from what I know by choice, as in with family and those close to Him. (Check His Psalms quote on the Cross in Matthew 27, they misunderstood Him because of it) This is a really good question Bendito! :laugh: You've got my mind buzzing with weird ideas now. Maybe I'll do some research once I get some of this work done.
 
Will be cool to always know what is being said before it is even spoken!! The heavenly language!! LOL 1 Cor 13:1 tongues of angels. hehe
 
Ah yes, gibberish but...

"But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God." I Cor 14:28

When we have come to the end our course with and for God and He says to us,
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant:", will there be any further gibberish? Will there be any further need for interpreters?
