Hey brother, I believe you started this conversation with an English lesson. I think the there is a human venacular and a God venacular that he wrote one time for all!

Its probable that you are completely misusing the word 'vernacular'. Why don't you try saying what you have to say using a different word?

What is your problem? You say something dumb and won't even clarify it. You use the wrong words and cause confusion about what you're talking about and get all gassy when someone talks about it. Maybe you should lay off the coffee.

I believe the Lord has and will always preserve His word.
Man will seek to change it through translation.
Vernacular being dialect or mother tongue is perhaps not the correct usage of the word in your dialogue here Born Again 2004 as Bendito you have stated.

I appreciate the warning and will work to improve but, as "venacular" goes and the correlation with to the word of God, I stand by what I said. I don't care what your venacular, dialect or mother tongue is and I hope your have a Bible translated in you native tongue, the Bible transcends all of that!

Maybe a thread on why God's word is supreme to any language or dialect of Man's. Surely, that is something we can all agree and be at peace with!?

I honestly do not know. But the words had to have meaning, even if He was the only one who understood. ( Heb 11:3; )
The word "dialect" assumes understanding. I can understand a certain dialect, but I cannot understand other dialects.
The difference between dialect and vernacular is... one is a language that is not my native tongue. In my case American English.
Vernacular also assumes understanding. But vernacular is in my native tongue, but even so, the words may be too complicated or sophisticated
for me to understand, even if they are said in English.
The written Word was originally in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. A lot of times in the Bible it says... "it is written". ( over 90 times )
In order for it to be written in a language that men "understand". It has to be written in a specific language. It also has to be written with a
certain vernacular.
God Himself created the different languages we speak. ( Gen 11:1-9; )
But still all through the Bible God says people hear, but they do not understand. Job 17:4; Isa 6:10; Isa 52:15; Isa 57:1; Matt 13:13-15; Matt 13:19;
Matt 22:29; Mark 4:12; Acts 28:26; etc...
In John 8:43; Jesus asks the Jews... why don't you understand me? He asks the disciples the same thing in Mark 4:13;
Mark 9:32; says they didn't understand something He said. ( Luke 2:50; )
Sometimes the word of God is "concealed" from us. Luke 9:45;
Sometimes these things are revealed to us later. John 12:16;
There are over 30 English Bibles I am aware of. (There may be more). But they all have different wording. The meaning is usually (not always)
the same. It comes down to how the words were interpreted. You and I can hear the words, at the same time, from the same person...
but we might interpret them differently. It doesn't necessarily mean one of us is dumb or unintelligent, just that we interpret words differently.
1 Cor 13:1; seem to indicate that angels have a language they speak that is different from the language of men.
I think it's very unlikely that God spoke English when He spoke creation into existence, but I suppose it's possible.
We might be able to discern unwritten things by the Holy Spirit. We might even be able to discern written things by the Holy Spirit. ( John 14:26; )
But how many times have you heard two Christians claiming to be led by the Spirit opposing each other?
God is not the author of confusion - 1 Cor 14:33; but even so... many do not understand.

I guess my answer is in there somewhere? I mostly use and cross reference several Bibles and I find one common thread....the basic gospel is the same.

Did I say otherwise? Who showed the writers what to write? Who dictated it? Stop arguing ask the Holy Spirit to show you what people are trying to share.
