In the book of Isaiah there is a lot of knowledge, but I would specifically like to hit on one chapter, in which it talks about Jesus. I once was sharing with a sister (she was Jewish), whenever we would talk about Jesus she would always tell me about Isaiah 53, and how the Jews refuse to acknowledge it because it describes the Messiah perfectly.
They don't want to acknowledge it because they don't want to accept that he is the Messiah, they wanted someone who could conquer all and help them be God's people again. I believe this is why so many Jewish people will be so thankful when the Anti-Christ comes, just plainly because they want their temple and they want to be on top again, but if you read the book of Revelation and you listen to what Jesus spoke about in Mt 24, then you can see that they will be deceived. It will happen so quickly...
These are just a few thoughts I've had, especially after listening to my friend talk about her Jewish roots. I am wondering why, people are so closed off when it comes to being malleable, they don't listen to Moses, Jesus, Paul, Peter, anyone... They want to do what it is that they want to do and is causes for a big gap; a gap between that person and God.
I guess I am making this post to just kind of show how irritating we can all be, I can imagine that God is pretty darn fed up with us. He has tried to help us out since day one and we've always turned our backs on him we've never been able to stay true to God and what he has told us; and the truth that he had brought us, through his son Jesus. We are all just leaning on our own understanding of something when that is something we are not supposed to do.
I am not trying to bash and Jews, so I am sorry if it seems that way. These things that I have wrote are thoughts from a deer friend, and my thoughts as well.
