Thank you Br. Bear. I am a little nervous and wasn't quite sure what to say. I had gotten out of going to church for a while, and God is calling me back. It has been really hard to find a church for me to feel acceptance. I am very grateful for this site. Very glad to be here.

life in this world [and even here] is a bit like a rose garden.
There is so much beauty and lovely fragrances to behold and enjoy.... but every now and again, there is that prickle !!!
I used to live in an area with lots of wild blackberries and each year i would take my fill throughout the season [like all sensible bears do] and I'd get scratches and prickles often BUT it was worth it.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Thank you so much Br. Bear! I love that about the blackberries. I used to pick them too, I do have some prickles right now dealing with some friends where I live. They are neighbors and we have become friends, but they are extremely nosey and judgemental. I am learning to pray for them and not be so anxious and depressed. Thank you for the uplifting comment and encouragement. I am learning here to rely more on God. Bless you and peace to you!:smile:
