If you're not getting into it, why'd you ask the question? The Bible doesn't speak of a trinityPlease, I am not getting it. Whom of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost is NOT a member of the so-called trinity.

So let me ask you this, you serve Jesus as Lord and God as Lord and they are separate to you? So who do you love and obey? You have 2 masters?

The term, trinity, as it pertains to Christianity actually came from a second century Christian writer. However, he held that there were two beings, the Father and Son, not one. The idea of a God that consists of three persons is actually a 5th century teaching. It's not what was taught in the beginning.Bingo. it has to be mystically interpreted to exist.

Wait... does anyone disagree with that?Let me show you how the disciples felt about this same question.
2 Cor 1:2 "Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ."
same thing said in opening to pretty much every book Paul was credited to have written, look and see.
James 1:1 "James a servant of God AND of the Lord Jesus Christ....."
1Peter 1:3 " Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
2 Peter 2:2 " Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, AND of Jesus our Lord."
1 John 1:3 ".......and truly our fellowship is with the Father , AND with his Son Jesus Christ."
2 John 1:3 "Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, AND from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."
I believe they make it clear there are 2, God AND his Son.
Wait... does anyone disagree with that?
Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Spirit is God. Why are we arguing?
What you just said is not true. The apostles make it clear that the Father is GOD and Jesus Christ is Their Lord, they never called Jesus God.
And if you will re read those verses you will notice they always gave God the first position and the Lord Jesus Christ the second. They understood.
John 16:25-26 (KJV) These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
What do you think he means by this?
Sam, don't you know I've been trying to help you?
