Maybe because the church is obsessed with antichrist

Less then one minute in the video and bingo i am hearing about the unrestrained hour of control of the antichrist . Where is the Passage for this belief?

If you treat the Bible as a code book to unravel the mysteries of the future, your e going to end up in some strange places.

Much better to read the Bible mindful of how it was written, who the intended readers were, and what the writers were trying to achieve in their day. Most of it is deeply pastoral, practical wisdom that we can use to shape our the way we live.

And if you live wholeheartedly following Jesus' teaching, you are by definition prepared for his return.
