Worship the Holy Spirit??

Do we not worship in song? They are one the three persons are the one God the one what and the three who. So the hymn Holy Holy Holy, Lord God almighty God in three wonderous forms blessed trinity so that's how i translate it ONE God three persons they are equal even though they are different persons share the same essence so yes I have prayed to the Holy Spirit because they are all one in three.

Is it biblical to praise and worship the Holy Spirit?

No, We do not pray to the Holy spirit. Our prayers are to God through Christ. Christ is our mediator. He paid for our salvation with His blood. We belong to Him.

We give praise and Give Glory to God through Christ Jesus.

Is the Holy Spirit / God - no -- Is God /the Holy Spirit? No They are Different entities within the Godhead. God IS Spirit, but Not the Holy Spirit.

God is one Sue, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

They can be compared as three yet one as follows: water, water vapour and ice are one. Though they are three, they are one.

One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Shalom

Let us sum this up again, You cannot look at the term God is 3 in 1 in human words it cannot fit but it does in GOD terms. we do not know or comprehend what a "GOD" is, we just have a word and a few attributes. Some people talk and act and refer to GOD as If you can describe him with human terms. LOL
the Doctrine of The Trinty let us know that, ok. You cannot place Him on your "dissecting board". Just believe what the bible says.
And at least we all can agree on that. LOL or else you are going to have a melt down.

PS Like me and you are one! For there is only one seed, there is only one body, of Christ, and we all at one point will be one! with the Father and with The SON, and with the Holy GHOST! And when I see you, "Brother-Paul" I will see the SON, because, you are going to look "JUST like HIM"!

20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Be sure of this that day will come to pass. For God cannot deny himself and He cannot lie. He tells the Truth!

I like the analogy of an egg better. The shell, the the yolk, and the egg-white.
I can remove the shell from the yolk and egg-white. I can even remove the yolk from egg-white. While it is "one" egg, it is three different entities.

Water can be ice, or it can be steam... but it can't be anything if I remove the water. Steam and and ice are just different states of the same entity.

Great example, it is a long time since I heard that one, so long I had forgotten. ;)

Thanks for the reminder brother.

Blessings

Totally agree with what you say brother.

And there is only one church. The ekklesia, the body of Christ, we are but spiritual stones in a most beautiful building, the Body of Christ.

Praise the Lord

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth. (KJV)

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and only by the power of his Spirit can people worship him as he really is." (GNB)

No one can worship God who is a Spirit without His Spirit (Holy Spirit) in the same way no one can have "faith" in Jesus (Word of God) without first having the "faith of Jesus". (which comes from hearing the Word)

The Holy Spirit is God!

Act 5:3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?
Act 5:4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.” (ESV)

John 15:26 King James Version (KJV)
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

When we're in Church - we are worshiping God -- songs like "Praise God from whom all blessings flow " And we pray to God the Father in Jesus's Name.

The Holy Spirit definitely has His place -- His role -- it's just not in being worshiped.

You cannot fully understand the New Testament without the Old Testament.
(Isaiah 1).
12When you come to appear before me,
who has asked this of you,
this trampling of my courts?
13Stop bringing meaningless offerings!
Your incense is detestable to me.
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—
I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.
14Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
I hate with all my being.
They have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I hide my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
I am not listening.

So it was in the OT, So it is in the NT.
(Revelation 1).
10On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

The Holy Spirit did not operate the same way in the Old Testament as in the New Testament.

There are worshippers, and then there are "true" worshippers. Only the "true" worshippers worship God in Spirit because it is led by the Holy Spirit.

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Joh 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Joh 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit will not speak of or glorify himself, but he will glorify Jesus, and then Jesus, in turn, Glorifies the Father by revealing himself to us!!! Without the work of the Holy Spirit, no one can be a worshipper of God as it all starts with him!
