Worship the Holy Spirit??

That is totally not true. Salvation does not take years to happen. It happens the moment one believes! Baptism is just an outward acknowledgment of what has happened inward.

I got saved 40+ years ago. I am just as saved today as I was back then.
Sorry you just said before that Jesus said " Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. "
Salvation is through Faith in Christ.
If the Gospel says "repent and be baptised for the remission of sins" then faith means you believe and do it.
otherwise is not saving faith. is not just faith to whatever, Faith in the Gospel only saves. How one has faith when actually dont believe the Words of Jesus? (i dont speak about you, i speak about your religion)
And yes you must put Christ upon, you must have FAITH ti the Gospel :
-REPENT (Die for your sins as Jesus dies for you)
-Baptism in water (you must be burried with him)
-Receive the Spirit (walk a new life like Jesus resurrected from the dead)
there is not any salvation in the Bible like "accept Christ in your heart" etc.that is Religion.

Sorry you just said before that Jesus said " Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. "
Salvation is through Faith in Christ.
Whoever believes.....believes what? First off, nobody can have faith to be saved until they hear the Word of God by which faith comes! (Romans 10:17)

What did Philp preach to Samaria?

Act 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Samaria believed what Philp preached and was baptized making them a "child" of God. Born again by incorruptible "seed" of the Word of God! (1 Peter 1:23)

If these people were children of God, and yes they were, then why would they need the Holy Spirit after having God come to live in them?

Act 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Act 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Act 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

One of the greatest evidence of the Godhead being, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is found in these two verses.

Luk 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened,
Luk 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

Jesus being the "Son of God" having the "Holy Spirit" descend upon him, and a "voice from Heaven" (God the Father) saying, "You are my beloved Son...."

Since God is a Spirit, you can not worship God unless you have the Holy Spirit (who is also God)

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Worship God in spirit by the Holy Spirit!

How can I know if I am worshipping how he wants me to?

1Co 2:11 For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

1Co 2:12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.

This is why it is imperative to have the Spirit of God, because he is the only one who knows the thoughts of God, and he is the only one who can communicate them to us!

Acts 5:3-4 (NKJV)
3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

'GOD' is...
Father, Son and Holy Spirit

God the Father
God the Son, Jesus, Yeshua
God the Holy Spirit

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the three persons in the Godhead.

One God, 3 persons, the Triune God

One God, eternally exists in three Persons:
- the Father
- the Son, and
- the Holy Spirit

these three are one God
- co-equal and
- co-eternal

having precisely the same nature and attributes, each having their own tasks in the Godhead, they are all worthy of Worship and Praise

Matthew 3:16-17 (NKJV)
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

Mark 12:29 (NKJV)
29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.

John 1:14 (NKJV)
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV)
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Acts 5:3, 4; (Above)

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three person's of the One True God.

They are equal but not to be considered 1/3rd's, they are, co-equal and co-eternal
Where I'm the Bible I can read God Holy Spirit?

Reading Acts 5:3-4 as added to post above #125

(v3) Annanias... lied to the Holy Spirit
(v4) you have not lied to man but to God

He lied to God the Holy Spirit

@ Brother -Paul -- Your last comment "They are equal but not to be considered 1/3rd/s, they are co-equal and co-eternal". The trinity is Tri -- three so, yes, they Are 1/3rd. Doesn't being 'co' suggest just 2?

Re: your last post -- vs 3 lying to the Holy Spirit vs 4 both Annanias and his wife -- they had Not lied to man, but to God.

And Your response is that he lied to God, The Holy Spirit. Suggesting they were the same.

They had lied not only to God but to the Holy Spirit as well. .

My fault Sue D. not been myself last couple of days.

Blonde days (with greyish hair)

Brother-Paul --- I can So relate to 'not being myself' , but mine started on the 11th of this month. The falling and breaking my right ankle. NOT a planned activity Nor a Desired reliance on a wheelchair and other people to help me with my normal house hold routines. My next appt is the 19th of August.

We all struggle with 'off days, weeks, etc'.

I know Sue, I pray for you sister.

Jesus never said life would be easy but he did say he would always be there for us.

I have a power wheelchair, have had for over 15 years, I can hobble bits round the bungalow but need the wheelchair for everything else. I also have an electric bed to help me get out and have all sorts of adaptions. I suffer varying degrees of pain 24/7 I just have to live with it and balance things best I can. But I am lucky, I have my wife to help me, I do hope saying this does not open wounds for you sister.

I am going to cut out of TJ for a few days to get my head straight, if nothing else.

You take care.

Jesus loves you, I do too.

God the father is the one who reveals his Son, and only the Son can reveal the Father, and this is all done by the Holy Spirit who reveals what the father says, which in turn only speaks what he hears.

Mat 11:27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Joh 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
Joh 16:14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
Joh 16:15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. (AMP)

Notice: the Spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit only speaks he hears the father say, and he, the Holy Spirit reveals everything that belongs to Jesus.
I'm of the opinion that we don't have to understand the "how" of the Godhead, just that He is. God has an infinite mind we have finite. I think I understand the basics of the Godhead, but I believe the most important aspect is to pray in spirit and truth like the Bible says. When I pray I think of Jesus, thus I'm thinking about the Godhead because the in Jesus the Godhead dwells bodily. Each person of the Godhead has their own jobs to do so to speak, but they indwell each other spiritually all the time never separated.

I don't know if it's technically wrong to worship the Holy Spirit, but I don't see anyone in the Bible doing it.
They worship "in" the Spirit, but it doesn't say they worship the Spirit.

I believe in the Trinity, but even so, there is still a hierarchy in the Trinity.

The Holy Spirit never points to Himself. He always points to Jesus.

John 15:26; "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,

Acts 1:8; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

Jesus always points to the Father.

Matt 10:32; "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.

Matt 26:39; And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will."

John 4:21; Jesus *said to her, "Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
John 4:23; "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

John 8:38; "I speak the things which I have seen with My Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from your father."

John 14:6; Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Is it biblical to praise and worship the Holy Spirit?
Jesus, the Father, and Holy Spirit are one God it is perfectly ok to worship one or all because when we worship one we are worshiping all since they are all God at the same time, but yet also distinct.

Thanks, i will cone to you with and only scriptures about:
-Spirit name us Jesus
-God bame is Jesus
Jesus or God nature is Spirit and He is Holy
-There is never mentioned the word Trinity or the idea that God consists if 3 seperate beings.
-there is not a single baptism in the tittles Father,Son,Spirit. All baptisms were in the name of Jesus:smile: (in tge onw and only name)
What about the baptism of Jesus the three were present Father, of course the son and the Holy Spirit landed on Jesus as a dove

Worshiping the Holy Spirit? No -- we Are to be worshiping God. There Are three parts to the Godhead. God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit. They have different jobs / positions. We Are to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.

Nothing in Scripture says to worship the Holy Spirit.

Is the Holy Spirit / God - no -- Is God /the Holy Spirit? No They are Different entities within the Godhead. God IS Spirit, but Not the Holy Spirit.

Do we not worship in song? They are one the three persons are the one God the one what and the three who. So the hymn Holy Holy Holy, Lord God almighty God in three wonderous forms blessed trinity so that's how i translate it ONE God three persons they are equal even though they are different persons share the same essence so yes I have prayed to the Holy Spirit because they are all one in three.
