Of course the flip side of this is...

If you believe God has already decided who will be saved, and who won't. There's nothing you can do to change it.
So why worry about it. Why mess with anything God wants to do.

Why even bother preaching about sin, hell, morals and salvation? None of it makes any difference if you believe in predestination and total depravity.

If you believe in OSAS, then we have nothing to worry about. Why warn anyone?

If there's nothing that can change God's will... then you are just wasting your breath.

If you really believe we need to warn people about things they can do to change their eternal fate... and you say you believe in OSAS and predestination...
then you are a hypocrite who doesn't really believe what they say they believe.

i understand, so it is okay for others to highjack my Thread" and deviate from the Thread issuing a debate about "John Calvin" I did not issue this Deviation so I must yield from my Thread and answer there Questiona concerning my believes concerning a man that I know nothing of His teaching! I thought I was kind, I didn't say anything, they move the conversation and attacked by belief. For inwhich my beliefs has been stated in a thread I have posted. In another thread. But I think I am being demanded by prejudice concerning my beliefs in the translated text of the Bible! And not "The Holy Scripture" that is also Mention in the "Chicago Statement" of Bibical Inerrancy" in Chicago, Illinois.

This is not even addressed to you! Do you understand the different types of "Evangelism"? How many different types of "Evangelism" training have you had and how many different types of "evangelism" fields have you participated in. And have you been schooled in the different "evangelism" methods"! Now i am beginning to wonder if you have the "spirit of God "in you. When "Christians" are living in unconfessed sins, they become blinded by God! Because of the sin in their lives, and they are not connected to the fellowship of the body of Christ. You fit that description! at this moment You are blind as a bat, to see what is going on, and living in complete flesh! Or make be you just do not know how to read, evangelistic work! Or neither do you understand "The Gospel of Jesus Christ"!

Give me your opinion based on scripture where the people who lived during old testament times fit into the kingdom.
Example is Jesus says that John the Baptist was the greatest man ever born of a woman but that the least in the kingdom is greater than he.
Then were told by Jesus again in
Luke 13:28 "There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and ALL the prophets, IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and you yourselves thrust out."
Keeping in mind that John was greater than all of them in Jesus' eyes.

So we see those that did not know Jesus and were never born again, as that was not available to them, in the kingdom, while we see John who baptized him and knew
him not in the kingdom and we know he was never born again before his demise as well.

How do we explain these unborn again people in the kingdom when Jesus said ye must be born again. And Romans tells us that in order to be saved ye must confess
the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead. How could one who never even heard of Jesus because he wasn't sent
into the world yet during the time they lived, believe that God raised him from the dead?

You are comparing apples and oranges .

John was still alive when Jesus said this, and He was talking about John alive compared to someone that is passed on ( died ) and in Heaven.

As for those of the Old Testament, although they never knew Jesus in name, they knew Jesus in thier hearts . As scripture states " they may not know they Law, but they know the Law written in thier hearts"

What is the Law ? The Law is the Word of God handed down from God to Moses.

But what is the Law ? The Law is the Word . And who is the Word ?

Calvin was ruled by the same Spirit that ruled the Pharisees when they wanted Rome to execute my lord and savior for what they considered to be blasphemy.

And why do you attach yourself to someone else. I read the bible, believe it, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead me. That makes me Christian. Jesus was not Augustinian. I’m not any of these names. I’m myself. So, if I do not agree with John Calvin, that means I’m Wesleyan or Arminian? There are things that I do not understand now, but I will not let John Calvin, or Jacobus Arminius answers for it. I need to come with my answers. Dear Brother,
You did well in explaining the purpose of the thread in #3 to Brother BAC. Which is what I thought was the purpose after reading your opening post. Then in your post #8 it was you who decided to deviate from your initial thread post by responding to a post that was mean for Brother BAC #7. It was at that point that I decided to let it go since you felt it necessary to move from the purpose of the thread on your own.

I will lock the thread to further response since as the Originator of the thread you are requesting it be done. Should you change your mind, please let me know and I'll reopen it.
