I've been here for quite a few years, and I just can't stand the censorship. As far as I'm concerned this forum could be blotted out of the book of the living for taking so much out of the OT and Revelations. It seems so hypocritical that it has to take out verses or deny them to satisfy its motives.
So, I don't want to detract any true believers. I think I'll just leave.

The choice is yours on whether you remain or not. Making it your own decision, or conducting yourself in a fashion that is insulting which then requires Staff to do what you were unwilling to do yourself. Which is to ban you. The attempt to Moderate in a fashion that doesn't just take one person into consideration, but the community as a whole, is not easy when interacting with some who are self-righteous. Not that I'm saying you are, in case you believe that was a sly way of saying so, but only the show you what type of individuals decide to join us here at Talk Jesus. Some are made aware of their behavior, and change. While others do not, no matter how much a desire it is for us as part of the Body of Christ to continue to fellowship and grow in God's Word with them. The www is a large place, and the hope is that they find a place that does provide them what we could not here at Talk Jesus.
This may not be to your liking, but what in this world ever truly satisfies? I'll answer my own question, so you don't have to answer. Without Christ Jesus, nothing. So, if you have issues, with Staff including myself, or something else that is being posted, you are welcome to communicate to us via Private Message (PM). This way we are made aware of the issue you are having, so that we can come to some resolution that is satisfactory to all, or allows the member to move on in the knowledge that they have tried their best. Because whether you believe it or not, this is not a free-for-all, like many forums out there, but a Godly one that seeks exchanges between Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus, to the Glory of God, and not the hubris of man.
Heated exchanges do breakout, and at times what should not have been allowed/accepted, does get by us Staff Members, but kindly members do inform us in those times, so that they can be addressed. Not driven, by any desire to be overbearing, or controlling, but rather that the environment be such that none need be afraid for the abuse received which is regular in other forums, and many find acceptable in this World. You might believe this inhibits the free flow of ideas, but there are such things as Heresy, and other World views that are unacceptable, and are dealt with. I'm sure in the eyes of the originators of such topics/positions, too harshly.
Now you may desire to be controversial in the topics or dare I say the theology that you hold, and desire to espouse them here at Talk Jesus in an unfettered way. Which it is fine up to a point, but if you have read the Statement of Faith (SOF), there is a point where the line is drawn, where what and how something is posted, is found to be unacceptable. Most times this is not a decision made by one Moderator, but is done with input from the Staff as a whole, or those who are available at the time so that an unreasonable amount of time doesn't transpire before a decision is made. Again, this may not be to your liking, but foregoing a PM communication does provide us yet the ability to include the author of a post in the discussions between Staff Members. The limitations of online posting, and oversight. (Heavy sigh)
Anyway, I'm sure this is not unexpected by either of you, since clearly you have made your voices heard here on this thread, and yet still remain members. So, my communication to you in this post. Understand, and I'm sure you do. When you post controversial subjects, it is bound to receive a closer scrutiny then topics that are but dotted "i's" or "t's" as it pertains to iron sharpening iron. However, you both receive apple warning, and know or should know what is and how to communicate to other believers that as I have stated, uplift, instructs, and does not denigrate others. (Yes, I'll be handling that one post directed to you Amethyst. I hope you will realize that not everything is done in open forum for all to see.)
Now if you have any further questions or observations on how TJ conducts itself. You are welcome to PM me or one of the other Staff Members.
I do hope you both decide to stay, but as always it will ultimately be dependent upon your own behavior/words, as is the case for everyone who calls this Oasis in the net called Talk Jesus home away from home.
