I don't sense Jesus anymore, I think He left me

Hello Jesus just saved me but I dont sense Him anymore. I have had blasphemous thoughts. I Don't have the fruits of the Spirit anymore. No joy, just depression. I don't want to do much. My heart is also very hardened.
 
best thing ever for depression for me is to go serve others, and focus on them. Exersize also helps

Best thing for me when not feeling close to Jesus, is prayer time even if I dont want to, corporate worship, fasting, reading the word, spiritual discplines I call them.

If your not willing to claim your thoughts and speak them out loud, they are not your thought.

Praying for you brother Andrew in our Kings name Jesus !!

I think He left me because of harbored sins such as unforgiveness, lust, pride, blasphemous thoughts, and things of that nature. I don't have the fruits of the Spirit anymore.

Well, you know why.. Now what? I knew you knew why, you did not sense him anymore. If you pile it on, you have to peel it off. And it is very easy to pile it on, than to peel it off. And are you putting it where it does not belong. I do not know, if you are married or not. But if you are not married, do not put it, where it does not belong. It might take years to recover from where you have fallen, if you have, then maybe not.

And start reading your Bible from Genesis until you pass Revelation and do not take 2 weeks to get there!

Being under spiritual attack is something we all as believers face
The enemy doesn’t need to torment the people of the world because they already serve him
But he loves to attack us, putting thoughts, putting doubt anything he can do to sever that connection to our father
The Father won’t leave you,Pray to him and keep praying and ask “ Lord increase my faith” “ Make my body a temple for your spirit, send your angels down to protect me tonight, I confess jesus died on the cross for all of our sins, And I loose myself from any unclean spirits!”
It’s true we come from a worldly life, speaking for myself I drank did drugs used women I was as worldly as they come, and as a believer it took a lot of time to “ reprogram” my thoughts, my actions but it wasn’t an overnight thing.
Infact one preacher used to say he had a guy come to him and say
“ MAN ever since I found Jesus all my troubles went away”
The preacher looked and said “ Really?! Cause that’s when mine started!”
I can relate it’s easy to live worldly, but being a believer and trying to live righteous is a lifelong journey
Brother these thoughts they are natural and after awhile you will be able with confidence say
“ not today satan!” , “ not today unclean spirit”
Read the word, pray, learn all you can about spiritual warfare
Learn to put on the armor of God and ask him daily to increase your faith
There are skeletons in my closet that like to peek out from time to time

That’s my take but I see some of our brothers and sisters have jumped in already with good advice
* that’s another point— you are not alone you have a family that has been there ( I know I have) and will try to lift you up

You are a Child of God, continue your journey your relationship with him, he promises to always be there for you!! We will never give up on you he will never quit you !! You may feel like a lost sheep but rest assured as the Bible says he will leave the 99 to go find the ONE !! No matter what you are going through open up his word and let him give you peace !!!
 
What you need to understand is that I am numb. I just have consuming apathy. I hope it is just what they call a "dry season" ever heard of that?

Andrew may God surround you and protect you with his LOVE. You are an amazing person, have you ever heard that expression get bitter or get better well don`t allow yourself to wade in the negativity and don`t give power of the words of loss of the fruits. YOU have so much potential and so much to offer to the world., and if ever it were a time that you need to FIRE that FAITH back up it is now !! Pick yourself up dust yourself off and LETS GET EXCITED ABOUT THE GIFT WE WERE GIVEN !!!

If you came toward Jesus it was because the Spirit drew you in his direction, And rest assured the Spirit knows all your deepest hiding places, yet here you are . Another thing we have in common .

What you 'feel' doesn't matter. Feelings are fickle, they can change so quickly. The absence of any sign of spirituality is of no consequence. You believe God Who cannot lie, You believe that He sent His Son into the world to die in your place, so that you, by faith in His atoning sacrifice for sin, may live in newness of life before the Father, and that you will receive life everlasting in resurrection. That Truth' remains as true now as it did when you first believed. God is faithful, and His word is sure. You now live by faith and not by sight.

God has placed you 'in' Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30). There is nowhere more secure than that. Just trust Him for He will never fail. Your sins have been forgiven you and nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

Are you going to believe God or your feelings? :love:
Trust Him, and read His word, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. It is how faith is received and it is also how faith grows.

Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
our Lord and Head.
