As illustrated by the passages there was a DAY in which Jesus was begotten in the flesh by the Father as a man. By definition a body that contained a spirit. That spirit just like yours needed to be born a second time (spiritually) as the spirit placed in the flesh is only feminine, but becomes a son when quickened by the Holy Ghost (born from above), exactly as what happens to each of the elect, in order to see the kingdom of God. It behooved Him to be made exactly like His brethren in all things
Where did you get that?
8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
I gather you deny the Trinity, correct ?
Like I said in the post the Elohim which was translated as God about 2300 times is a plural, feminine word. Example from Bible that supports this feminine concept is David in the Psalms
Psalms 34:2 "
My soul shall make HER boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad."
Like His brethren comes from Heb 2:17 Wherefore
in all things it behooved Him to be like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest......
He had to be a man in order to understand what a man went through upon the face of the earth, it was through His own experiential knowledge of our situation that would make Him
a more merciful priest, He had to live it. This of course was by the design of God.
We who will be made kings and priests unto God through Jesus Christ will obtain that same experiential knowledge that will make us more merciful and faithful priests as well.
The post stands for itself as far as trinity is concerned. I have fought that too many times and care not to indulge in it further, but will say:
There is ONE TRUE GOD that is the Father of us all including Jesus Christ. There is one Son of God that has been proclaimed to be a God after He was resurrected by His Father.
Psalms 45:6-7 Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness and hatest wickedness:
Therefore GOD, THY GOD, hath anointed
thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Put this with John 20:17 and understand that God is the God of Jesus according to His own words. Here are 2 witnesses.
Psalms 45:6-7 Repeated in Hebrews 1:8-9
The 45th Psalms should be read to understand that this prophecy was about Jesus. But was not completely fulfilled until after Jesus' resurrection some 500 plus yrs later,
when He was glorified by the Father.
Jesus Christ the same ............. Jesus was the 41st generation from Abraham. It was not until He received His baptism in the Holy Ghost at Jordan that He became the 42nd Generation.
The very first of the NEW CREATURES. Thus Jesus Christ the same etc began that day as the very 1st man to ever be born of God spiritually(born again) and this was the opening up of the Kingdom of God which he preached His entire ministry as this was the resurrecting power that this man attained to according to the wisdom and plan of God. Rightly dividing the word of God is not always an easy thing to do.
No Samson you are not a god and never will be.
Acts 13:41" Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish; For I work a work in your days, a work that ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you."
Tell me what word would you apply to
1) An immortal spiritual being, that death has no dominion over.
2) An incorruptible spiritual being.
3) One that sits in the same throne as Jesus Christ who sits in His Fathers throne.
4) One to whom
nothing is impossible according to Jesus Himself in Matt 17:20
5) Who has been justified and glorified by God.
6) And is a son of God. Remembering that KIND PRODUCES KIND.
Ps the post never said I was. And neither was Jesus until after His resurrection for that is when He was glorified and all power in heaven and earth was given to Him.
No elect is glorified until the first resurrection, so it would seem most peculiar to me also if someone were to declare they already were a god while still stuck in a human body.
The sons of God who are still in the body are undergoing a gestational period where they become more like their Father. Jesus underwent this same process while still in the body,
this was His period of perfecting. And having been perfected He became the author of eternal salvation, and a life giving Spirit. And we know that when we see Jesus we shall see
Him as he is now for we shall be like Him. Immortal, and Incorruptible.
