Eat my flesh, drink my blood

No scripture said that John the baptizer doubted the truth!

Again doubt is not the opposite of faith ( Gods power working in us to both reveal his will and empower dying mankind to perform it .) .

.Un belief (no faith) the opposite (no power) .

Doubt as in wondering not knowing an answer, moves men to seek out the truth .

Luke 7:19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

I would apply Jesus's words of John 6:63-64 as refuting the mentality of the Jews still looking for bread from Heaven like manna to actually eat as His flesh in John 6:52 since the flesh profits nothing. in John 6:64.

Thus Jesus was speaking symbolically about His crucifixion rather than referring to communion as communion is also referring to His crucifixion in proclaiming the Lord's death in remembrance of Him of what He has done for us.

Jesus said in John 6:54-56

54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.”

Jesus said in John 6:27 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.”

So what is the flesh and blood of Jesus that we are to eat? Jesus said in John 6:32-33 “32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.”

Jesus said in
John 6:48 I am that bread of life.
So what is His flesh, and what is this bread of Life? We are told in 1John 1:1 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;”
In John 1:14 we confirm what Jesus’flesh is when we are told that “the Word was made flesh”

So it is the words of God we must consume like food for our soul. But what about the blood of Jesus we are told to drink?

The blood of Jesus speaks….
Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

The blood of Jesus represents His Testimony….
Matthew 26:28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

This is how the blood of His testimony washes clean…
John 15:3
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Ephesians 5:26
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Both water and blood testify ….
1 John 5:6
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by waterand blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1 John 5:8
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Both water and blood came out of Jesus’ side when pierced.

Consuming the flesh and blood of Jesus is how we truly commune with God. The flesh and blood of Jesus is both the law and the testimony of God.

Isaiah 8:16
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
Tell me the meaning of the word "christ". Jesus is not talking about communion here...

Jesus is talking covenant here...just as He is talking covenant in

1 Corinthians 11:24-29

King James Version

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

You are not in christ because you obey His word...you obey his word because you are in Christ

You are not in christ because you obey His word...you obey his word because you are in Christ
Christ is the anointed One of God, which is the Living Word of God. If you are born again of God’s Holy Spirit you have God’s Word also dwelling in you. This is what it means to have Christ in you. We commune with God via the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Partly true...The word Christ is the anointed One and His anointing....In this sense we are christs because we are the anointed ones under His anointing...

It seems that many many Christians do not communicate with the Holy Spirit based on all the nonsense we see and hear from them...

Do you know what Grace is?

So you're describing mercy and not grace?
Gods grace and Gods favor is the same.

Luk 2:40 - And the child grew, andwaxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace G5485 of Godwas upon him.

Luk 2:52 - And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour G5485 with God and man.

See, grace G5485 and favor G5485 are the same. Any more questions?

By the way, this is the part of what I said that you did not understand.

Isaiah 59:21
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouthof thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

Grace is SO MUCH MORE than simply favor, my friend..... (question) When did Jesus ever need God's favor? He is God

In calling grace merely favor you missed out on the best part....that being
    1. of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues
  • what is due to grace
    1. the spiritual condition of one governed by the power of divine grace So then grace is not just favor at all but the 'Empowering PRESENCE of God in a believer, which empowers him to do that which God has for him...or her to do...which empowers him...or her to be all that God wants them to be'

I understood that.....but you cannot understand it if you do not know what grace really is....You have Gods favor because of His Empowering PRESENCE.

I must say though, that you are closer to understanding what grace is than most I've spoken to....

I know Christ, and I know what God’s grace is, as I have received it. I also discerned by the Spirit of grace given me, that you are a proud fellow. Have a nice day.
