I did pray and read THE BOOK, and there's one rule of thumb which I adhere to with all my heart, that whenever there's a NUMBER in the bible, it always means LITERALLY and SPECIFICALLY that number. If it says 3.5 years, than it's 3.5 years. If it says 1 day is like 1000 years, than it is 1000 years. If it says 42 generations from Abraham to Adam divided into 3 sets of 14, than it's 42 generations - I've got a thread deleted due to my insistence on this one. And if it says Adam lived 930 years, than he lived 930 years.
Any interpretation that tries to spiritualize it or blur it is from the devil.
Well, be sure of this "GOD" does not live and dwell in "TIME" his son made time. The Father did not make time his son did. So why are we mention it about something once did not exist and a day will come when it will not exist again. so, our ways are not his ways, his thoughts are not like our thoughts, but he does communicate a way we can understand in polluted terms when it pertains to that which is "incomprehensible" to the finite mind.. The finite mind cannot go there, nor even imagine that which is eternal.
Are you sure you have read "THE BOOK" if so how many uninterrupted days did it take and how many times you have done it, "Uninterrupted"
2, 3, 4 days? Notice I did not say studied, I say read it, like A "BOOK" and at the end of the BOOK, you gave a book report and turn in your findings.
For many think, that you read a few pages here and a few pages there and you read what this man said here, and the class you was in here, then skip over here and read a couple verses over there and you done this in 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 years, And so in that many have claim they have read the book, But the devil have trick them into thinking they have read the BOOK! and when you question them :They Grow wild and angry will big Red Horns on top of their heads and start Puffing Smoke out of their ears and nose and have temper fits!~
But I have met some bible teachers, pastors ,minsters that are honest, especially they knowing how I am, have admitted they have not, humbly.
But many and I say many, have lied and claim they have. Pride and not :Godliness, it seems to rule in their lives so much they do not realize they are liars and they feel that their lies are ok, the reason they do stuff like this The whole Book as a story is not in them as such, So yes they are missing something that they feel is not value enough to take on that task,
And these are the people who wants to engage with you fully and they have not engage fully the BOOK, as a whole, in which they think is unnecessary. But they want to engage you into something more powerful than full Contact KARATE, Okinawa style, and they have skipped a whole lot of training and the instructor pass them, because they where complaining how much money they have spend. Many have not spent the many hours of "DISCIPLINE" and they wonder how you can destroy, them within a moment of time at your very whim. "Discipline" and a lot more, much more that the mind cannot conceive in this endeavor. It is not like the "mortal mans" out look. it is totally different , what the "Parakletos" does what you put in you, concerning The BOOK as A WHOLE" but everybody want to prove "tongues" "prophecy", paths of healings, waving your hands and pouring cooking oil over people like they are magical wands and portions with verse spells, people go for that, and they do not need nothing else. "that devil, he is coin"
But that devil he will never suggest to you to read the whole Bible in short sittings, he will give you every excuse not too! And he knows, if he can get you to lie and say you have, he has foothold a stronghold on you, a lie produce more lies and more lying ways. But if you tell the truth and I say I haven't , that Truth will Grow and produce Fruits, unto repentance. and before you know it that righteousness will grow and before you know it, you have started taking on the journey with prayer to read the Book in a short sitting. Truth is honored by GOD with rewards that does not fade away but enters ETERNITY! cars, houses, clothes, vacation trips, do not follow you into ETERNITY!
