Joel 2:28 - I had a dream :)

To whomever reads this. Yes, I had a dream last night! lol Oh, not the MLK type that's for sure, but one I had, I was able to recall upon awakening which is usually not the case with me. If you want to comment on it, I have no problem listening to any thoughts you may have. To me it was curious, but I don't attribute anything specific to it.

The Dream:

I found myself entering a door entrance to a building with 2 others. One looked like Magnum PI, with a bushy mustache, curly hair, and tall. As we entered I or the awareness of me, point of view of me, saw a standing sign that you would normally see advertising for a conference at a hotel. It only had one word and said “SOY” with sparkling/subdued colors all around the writing of the word that was solid bold and appeared gold.

The entry was to a larger room that had statues tall standing in white/gold appearance and what appeared to be wearing long flowing robes/dress wear. There was another there that seemed to be talking with many others which I could not identify and appeared only as voices.

They were speaking that one could be as they, but not everyone would be, is what I heard the main voice as saying. Not knowing what this meant, as I was looking down at my hands a stone appeared and started to take shape. Yet, it appeared to be incomplete just the head, but with a nose not fully formed.

I fell to the carpeted floor still holding on to this stone head, and felt an ecstasy/joy that was overwhelming, but not enough that I was unaware of my surrounding of still being in what to me was more a temple/church that contained these statues of men(?).

I started to slide prone along the floor still holding this incomplete head and found myself going through what now was a garden with the statues still standing tall. I continued to slide away from them, towards a back area of the garden that seemed to lead to a brick wall with large stones, through an opening in them.

Then I was in semi-darkness, still holding onto the incomplete head of a statue, when I started to slide under a bunch of snakes that were all over me so that snakes was all there was. Normally, I know that I would be scared or at least have a great sense of fear since this is all there was but snakes, but I felt no fear, still a sense of peace that I was moving or that I was still, and the snakes were all moving.

Then it was as if I passed the snakes, into a room that had more statues, but incomplete ones. Which had me wonder, if what I was holding belonged to one of them here, and maybe would complete it in some form or fashion.

End of dream. It was at this time that I woke up.

I got nothing. LOL Interesting though, some things that cause fear and confusion in what looks like a wonderful place. And no idea what the head was for. Did the head remind you of anyone?

Nope, but in a way, it did remind me of the statues I saw in the churches in Rome years ago, and also some that I've seen when I still younger in museums in NYC, but nothing specific to any personage in history or person that I might know.

The odd thing is that I felt no fear, even with the snakes being all over me, from what my sight at the time allowed me to see was transpiring to me. If there was ever a moment for fear to be part of the equation, that would have been it.

Also, I didn't necessarily see it as a wonderful place!!! I just felt this ecstasy/joy when I held this stone that started to change into an incomplete head. That to me was another oddity. Why would holding a stone, would have elicited such feelings/emotions. (shrug)

Thanks for replying Brother! That's why I mentioned Joel 2:28 because it doesn't say that the old men (me) would know the significance of them! lol

I have been an big time (remembered) dreamer from a very young age. Many have been spiritual dreams, but most werent, but the fact that you remembered this one when you usually dont is significant alone. I would recommend you write down the dream and keep a record digitally of it and any remembered dream that is strange or significant. Sometimes the dreams become more clear in its purpose down the road, thats also happened quite alot to me. To a point, MOST of them made more sense down the road when life happens and brings some of those things to light.

Every dream like this that a Christian dreams has meaning. Usually they are very simple to understand. God wants us to 'know' what He is communicating and not for us to be confused. So don't try read into it too much or be too mystical when interpreting.

Your dream actually comes across with very powerful symbolism. Stones, tall stones, snakes, half formed stone that you holding.

Many scriptures mention stones in heaven. In Eze 28:16 we read that the devil once walked among the stones of fire. In Exo 24:9-10, Eze 1:26 and Eze 10:1 we see many references to God's throne being sapphire stone. In Rev 4:2-3 we read that God radiates / has an appearance of jasper (clear diamond like) and carnelian (red fiery stone). In Eze 28:12-13 we read that Lucifer had a crown with 13 different stones on it.

I would say that the stone like appearance of the tall figures in your dream was a reference to angels and the crowns they all had. In your own hand you had a stone / your own crown, but could not properly see it as it was not yet your time to receive it. God clearly wanted you to know that you have one waiting.

Travelling underneath many snakes is clearly a sign that God wants to use you for something very 'trying' before you come to Him.

You have your crown in your hand because God wants you to know that you are His and that you must hold onto Him through what He is about to take you through. No harm will come to you.

A pretty clear, heavily symbolic and scripturally sound dream.

I also believe that that sign you saw in the beginning has significance. A few times I have seen objects in dreams that I see later in real life. You then have a real Christian type 'deja vu' moment.

Scripture also tells us in Jeremiah 23:16-

“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart,who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.
