1) You will know the truth and the truth will make you free. This provides both the proper goal of education, to know what is true and the proper reason for being educated, so we can be free. Education not based on the proper goal, to know what is true and/or, the proper reason for knowing what is true, so we can be free, is not worthy of the term 'education'. Unfortunately, this includes most of what passes for 'education' in the modern 21st Century world, which is generally focused on becoming educated so one can earn more money.

2) Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Consider how brave it was for Jesus to say this while a group of Roman soldiers were waiting to take him away to be crucified, the sword being the symbol of the might of the Roman Empire. And consider that to this day, no one has come up with a better solution for ending war and other human violence. This same axiom can be found in even more profound detail in Revelation 13.

3) Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as well as a common field lily. This is by far the greatest environmental statement known in human history, given at a time and place where such an issue wasn't even on the general public radar. To pretend that Jesus didn't care about the environment is to say that one of his followers, the first prominent modern environmentalist Albert Schweitzer, didn't care about the environment. Jesus is first and foremost, human history's greatest example of how important personal example, inspiration and influence is to achieving positive change.

4) Whatever you want people to do to you, do also to them. This is the proper and correct foundation for human and civil rights and, there is no greater proper ethical or human motivational idea in all of human history. To just teach us to do no harm, as some inferior so-called "golden rules" do, isn't nearly as socially and politically effective as teaching us to pro-actively reach out and treat others like we would want them to treat us, even if they aren't first friendly or kind towards us.

5) "These things I command you, that you love one another". For this reason, we will not kill, we will not steal, we will not bear false witness, we will not enslave our fellow human beings, we will not mass pollute the fragile home of our children's future, we will have deep reverence and respect for all of God's creation and, if there be any action worthy for the pursuit of life, liberty, fulfillment, security, happiness and peace on earth, for both human beings and every other living thing on our planet, it is summed up in this, that we love our neighbor as our self.

It is highly recommended that one study the Bible for themselves while, it is not recommended that anyone view reading the Bible as being either a religious ritual or obligation. It is recommended that one read the New Testament completely through at least three times before tackling the Old Testament, because doing so will help one understand the Old Testament better.

What exactly do you mean by study? Personally i never understood why one would Study the Word like He is a frog from biology class that is being dissected.. idk

The Bible is inspired by and contains truth from God Almighty. The words of Jesus come directly from God, according to Jesus himself. If you want to remain ignorant, then don't study the Bible.

Oh so you study those you Love? Kinda like a psychiatrist? Do you not believe the Word is Truth?
Im just boggled what exactly are you studying? I mean i would Study for history test back in the day to memorize dates n times.. but The Word is not like a history or biology book..
What exactly is it you study?

The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil..

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth..

What about the Bible do you study? Im not trying to be facetious but im actually curious because i never understood what one studies in the bible..are you like trying to memorize things n thats why you study?

I have read the entire Bible, the vast majority more than once and the New Testament more times than I can count. I've also studied the history of the Old and New Testaments in significant detail. A lot of misunderstanding of the Bible today comes from a lack of knowledge of the history surrounding the Bible.

You can learn more about the Bible here, based on my own study:

I told you I read the Britannica and the Bible. The Britannica is considered by scholars to be the best source for human knowledge. You can learn a lot about Jewish, Christian and other history in the Britannica.

To "study" simply means to read and try and understand what is true. Study has the same meaning, regardless of what one is reading.

Like Jesus says, if we know the truth, the truth will make us free, strongly implying that if we don't know the truth, we will never be remotely free. If you don't want to know what the Bible actually means, rather than just reading words, then I just feel sorry for you.

Hmm i feel sorry for those who see with the eyes of flesh those who cant see that unless you Love on the Lord you do all in vain..i feel sorry for those who search Scripture in thinking they will find Salvation n then ya got those who think if they memorize some words that will save them.. i find it very sad that most dont even take the time to find who they Truly are in Him they just want what they can get n nothing more..i feel sorry for those who still attend them synagogues of Satan n think its truly a Church of the Living God most of all i feel pity for all those who been lead the blind astray false ones who go by titles for they surely have no clue what is in store for them for they are part of the worst of the worst frfr..
Have no sorrow for me friend the Lord takes care of His...

“Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
