Its certainly possible, I did it once as a child, but I got the sense from the Lord that it was VERY dangerous. Never did it again, and I can tell you its something you have to want to do, before it can happen, and even if you do want to do it, it will rarely happen unless a spirit helps you. All spirits usually know how to do it, both good and evil spirits, and if you arent 100% positive its a good spirit of the Lord helping you, then you DONT want to do it.

First of all I do it all the time. But the thing that's most important when it comes to Spirit walking is doing it in the Lord

People forget and they often attribute everything different to the darkness. Like the whole business of spirit walking you hear about it from New Age movement Transcendental Meditation all that kind of stuff. The problem is is that the darkness can't create the gifts. So when you hear about it happening outside the Lord, they do it because the devil has allowed them to do it through him.

You see when Satan was created he was endowed with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It states in the scripture that he had every type of Jewel there was. He was as brilliant as the sun.

The difference between Lucifer and receiving the gifts of the Spirit through God is one thing, it is love. Love is the key to everything.

If a person receives the gifts of the Spirit from Satan, there is no love in it. Therefore they are faulty and have no strength. Although those people can and will do Spirit walking or do healings and so on. Those healings will fail, and the spirit walking has its limitations.

[ back in the '60s OR '70s there was a so-called Christian leader referred to as Minister Jones, he started Jonestown in Africa. He was very charismatic, and drew a lot of people to him. Often at his Services there would be all sorts of healings. And this is what caused many people to jump in with him. The problem was about the healings that they only lasted for a couple of days and then failed. It is a primary example of someone who is not in the Lord, but has a gift of healing through the darkness]

It's pretty much the very same thing when it comes to the argument about Christmas being a pagan holiday. We have to go back to who was the creator. The creator of course is God God created the universe God created the days of the week. So the concept of it being a pagan holiday is foolishness. That's the pagans that stole it from God in the first place. Christmas is a day that is Holy. It's not a pagan holiday. It's a day that was stolen and given to the pagans and never redeemed until it was claimed by the Christians. The same thing with Easter. And we can claim days like Halloween too because guess what they don't belong to the darkness they belong to God.

So going back to the gifts of the Spirit. All these gifts that we see being done by people who walk in darkness, they are indeed gives to the Holy Spirit that have been corrupted.

So when you see them doing like when they can see it a distance or try to look inside of somebody's mind or Spirit walk or all that other stuff understand that those are stolen gifts. They are corrupted by Lucifer and given to people. The true gifts of the Holy Spirit are much greater. Yes you can walk in spirit in the Lord. And with God's love

Yes you can do all of those things that you see those people in the New Age movement doing. Except you'll do them in God's love and not through Lucifer

For many years when the Lord first had me doing Spirit walking I did a lot of police work so to speak. As I knew I had to give to feeling and I had a lot of authority with it. I was often helping people who were being harassed by others who walked in the Darkness that also did Spirit walking. I think those who walked in Transcendental Meditation we're probably the worst ones as they felt that they could do anything even if it was evil.

For a long time I didn't know of anyone else that did the things that I was doing, although I know God allows people to experience these things it probably wasn't until about 20 years later when I first met one person that was also called to this type of gifts

Here at Talk Jesus I've met two other people who are also called the spirit walk. They do the same thing I do

I was stationed in Texas years ago and had a roommate who was a computer programmer for one of the Air Force headquarters. He was also married to a teacher, but she lived back at his hometown in PA and hadn't joined him yet. He was I believe a Christian, though I myself had not yet come to the Lord at that time. At least not until a few years later. He used to read the Bible from a straight translation from the Greek. I wasn't that interested at the time, so never found out what the version/translation was. Anyway, we'd spend time on one of these hot Texas days, just talking. Then the subject of leaving one's body came up, Astral Projection. He told me that he would do it at times, so he could go visit his wife and tell me stories of being able to see her, and what she was doing. I was skeptical but I listened.

He told me if I decided to do it, to be very careful, because one could get separated from one's body, and be lost, and be unable to return to one's body. One also could be misled, because there were malignant spirits in this environment too, who have no love loss for humanity. Care is what he always emphasized when we talked about it. I had the feeling even then that he wanted to teach me to experience it, but I was too much of a chicken. I had visions as a teenager, in which I saw on a noon day, apparitions/shadows of people just walking through smoke/haze in the streets of New York. Years later I saw it again, but live, for it was 9/11 after the planes crashed into the towers with all the dust in the air, and people just walking the streets.

Anyway, back to the original story. He attempted to try and do non-verbal communication as a first step. I can in honesty say, that I felt a cerebral flash of light, though we had not touched, and were in our room in the barracks that was unlighted. So, I do not believe it was generated by any materialistic type of occurrence. That is when I knew myself to be a chicken for this kind of stuff. lol We never attempted it again, and though we stayed close after he moved out and his wife joined him. But that's another story! Still, I was never curious about that even after coming to the Lord, a few years later.

People don't want to believe when I say, I'm just a simple man. Knowing in Christ Jesus, certain truths, and one of them is that when it's time He'll call me home, and what awaits me is being with the Lord. Everything else will just be a cherry on the top, or gravy if you will.

Is there a dimension out there, or what one would call the spirit realm, of course. With evil & good. No different than this earthly world we live in the flesh with. Do, I look for either one, dimensionally or in this world? Nope. I just go about trying to do God's business for me, and so far, it hasn't included looking to being involved in those areas that are out there.

For what it's worth, I'd suggest prayer, worship, and singing if one feels a negative presence, because you'll see that it will be gone before you know it. Maybe, if I thought it were possible to convert such a spirit, I might see it differently, but what will I learn from them that God won't have me know in His own time? Nothing at all.

Well, that's it except for what I came across in researching the origins of witchcraft, New Age studies a few years ago. (shrug)

It's very important to note that unless God calls you to do spiritual work, that you shouldn't really seek it out. I didn't seek it out, it's something the Lord led me to.

And your friend is right there are plenty of characters out there that are up to no good. Not only the demons but the humans that are on some crazy power trip or something that just don't like you for whatever reason. And then there's the handful of good people out there that do it.

I wanted to point out a couple of things. Buddhist monks do out of the body experiences, but their intentions are good. I have yet to meet one that is not with good intention.

Not everyone that walks out there outside of Christians, plan on doing people harm. There's kind of a mixture of people. Just in real life, you have people who are Christians and then you have good people and you have people that are into satanism and you have bad people that are not. And then there's just people that just want to live their life.

I know for myself the Lord has sent me a number of times to go witness to an individual. I have no clue who the person is, but the Lord will send me to meet someone on some random street somewhere and then I will start talking to them about God's love. We will go out and have an ice cream cone. And then the conversation is over and I'm gone.

I would say it was about 25 years ago that I actually had a confirmation about one of the people that I met. He had claimed that he spoke to a man about having faith in God and that he had had an ice cream cone with that guy. Now I could say it was me. But the thing that was the key indicator for this was it happen in Italy to a priest. And I knew the name of the priest and I had that ice cream cone with that guy and I remember setting that the ice cream cone on a cement railing for a Stairway going into a church. And that's exactly what this guy described before I was gone.

I've never told anyone about this until now. But I feel it's important to show the reality of the truth. The priest went on to become a holy man. And has led many children and people to Jesus.

He was the first priest that I ever was sent to. Since that time there was another priest who all it was also sent to. And in both cases they have become very holy men

I love it when the Lord calls me to be with him. It's always God the father that calls me to him. Often when I'm driving my truck and listening to music I'll hear the Lord say to me, do you love that music better than you love me? And of course my answer is no. The next thing he'll be saying is come up here, and I go to him in spirit

I'm not even sure if I would go that way I think I would trust more on how the Lord or the Holy Spirit moves in me.

I think of about how many times that the devil doesn't want you to meet with someone and how many times I've had those odd feelings cross through me. And then I pray about it and I let the Lord, let the Holy Spirit move in me. I find that often when I get that first yucky feeling about someone, I find that the Holy Spirit draws me to that person.

We get that yucky sensation because the darkness doesn't want you to connect with that person. As the darkness will know that you would be a good influence for them, a good influence to bring them to the Lord.

I used to get that sensation quite often if I would go into a biker bar for instance. I used to like shooting pool quite a bit, and at the bar is where the typical pool tables are at. Well I would purposefully look around for the first person I would find would give me that yucky feeling and I would go over to that person because I knew that that is the person the darkness doesn't want me to go to

In occultism and astral projection practices, the term is frequently used literally. In these traditions, the silver cord represents an etheric, elastic tether that connects the physical body to the soul, and death occurs only when this cord is finally severed.

I want to remind you something that I said a couple different times in different locations in Talk Jesus, it has to do with where everything starts with in the first place

This also includes things like days of the year, months of the year, and all the spiritual gifts. And there are other things too like things that are invented or songs that come from people.

The devil cannot create, plain and simple the devil cannot create anything. He wants to give the ""ILLUSION"" that he is capable of doing such things but he cannot do it.

I think it's very important, that we understand that the devil constantly tries to show us that he is equal to God. And of the many ways that he tries to do that is by giving us this delusion that he is also The Giver of gifts.

In the Scripture it states that Tyre was given all the Jewels in the heavens. The scripture passage was actually talking about Lucifer, it's in the Old Testament I'd have to look it up where it's at as I'm in the hospital and without access to a Bible at the moment. However it's because of this and we know that Lucifer is created as a prince of Heaven. He was given all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. But the one thing that he doesn't have, and it's because he rejected God. The one thing that Lucifer doesn't have is love. And if you read Paul where he talks about faith by itself is a Gong clanging in the Wind. We know that faith without love is nothing.

So those who walk in darkness, those who are in the occult those who are in the New Age movement, those who are in all those different things that use those gifts fail because of one simple thing that they don't have love.

So when we hear about people who do walking in the spirit, it's true they're walking in the spirit, but without love. And there are a whole slew of people that do that. Those that are into Transcendental Meditation, those that are doing all sorts of stuff. But they do not have any love within them not the type that matters. Because they have to have the love of God in them.

Going back to all the different forms of co-creation with God. Whether it's having children, or writing music, or inventing things, or cloning, or all the gifts of the Spirit. All the stuff comes from God first. And then Satan will corrupt every single one in his own way because he wants to be God he wants to be equal to God. We see this all the time, cloning is invented the next thing you hear about is something that's evil. Where they try to clone people. AI is invented, and already we see the double maneuvering using AI very strongly. We see music that is beautiful, and the double comes in and corrupts it we see inventions come along that is fantastic, and the Devil comes in and corrupts it and so on it just continues.

I can go on with all the other stuff too the days of the week. Months of the year even certain years are dedicated to something stupid that is in the Darkness. And yet God has created all of it.

So I want to go back to walking in the spirit, this has been around for eons and it's something of the Lord. It's just that the glory of it has been bragged about by the darkness for forever so it seems like it's a gift of the darkness. But how can that be when he can't do it he can't create gifts he can only corrupt them.

So I want to go back to walking in the spirit, this has been around for eons and it's something of the Lord. It's just that the glory of it has been bragged about by the darkness for forever so it seems like it's a gift of the darkness. But how can that be when he can't do it he can't create gifts he can only corrupt them.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Gal. 5:16)
